I went through an entire decade of not wanting to see whitey's flat ass ever again. I dated some black men, it was an eye opener on many levels.

Then I dated a white guy and who knows where my future lies now.

It is going to be the entire person I gravitate toward and am open to.

For me, the most important thing is the submission not the race. Although I've encountered LOTS of people in the vanilla and BDSM worlds who are only interested in persons with a specific racial, ethnic or religious background.

I am owned by a black married couple.  I don't think race entered into our attractions for each other, but I suppose I could be wrong about their motivations.  I have no personal preference for any particular physical attribute.  I've been with people from 5'3" - 6'8" tall, every color from a very very dark nearly black to extremely fair Nordic types.  For me it is the whole person.  I don't submit to my Daddy because of his color, but because of his dominant persona.   But that wasn't really the question, was it, OP?

In my opinion, many of us are attracted by that which is considered "taboo". Often, this includes any type of interracial relationship. Having been involved in such relationships, though, it's always seemed to be more significant to others than it has ever been to me.

The idea that this is a trend is a myth according to a two-year Columbia study on racial preferences in dating.

In 2007 economist Ray Fisman, in a study he co-authored on dating preferences among Columbia University students, did not find evidence of a general preference among white men for Asian women. Furthermore, the study found that there is a significantly higher pairing of white men with East Asian women simply because East Asian women discriminate racially against black and hispanic men. “We found no evidence of the stereotype of a white male preference for East Asian women. However, we also found that East Asian women did not discriminate against white men (only against black and Hispanic men). As a result, the white man-Asian woman pairing was the most common form of interracial dating—but because of the women's neutrality, not the men's pronounced preference. Men don't seem to discriminate based on race when it comes to dating. A woman's race had no effect on the men's choices.”


The study was carried out over two years and was conducted by psychologists Ray Fisman (lead researcher from Columbia University), Sheena Iyengar (Columbia University) and Itamar Simonson (Stanford), as well as fellow economist Emir Kamenica (University of Chicago). They took data from "thousands of decisions made by more than 400 daters from Columbia University's various graduate and professional schools."

Studies aside, perhaps most revealing to me, once while traveling to China, I remember devouring a scientific journal I brought with me on the plane (unfortunately the name escapes me of the journal) where researchers studied, in detail, WHY there are vastly more WhiteMen:AsianWomen marriages than AsianMen:WhiteWomen in the USA. They concluded just what I would have. Men lift up; women step up (at least in marriage in the USA, according to the conclusions of the researchers). (Apologies for not having a link backing this up.)

Of course, YMMV, so, in summary, I'll only speak for THIS white guy:
Damn, I love the Asian attitude. Mostly I prefer Indonesian (personal experience); but most Asian-born women I've been intimate with are extremely and deliciously passive. They don't have much imagination (i.e., they just throw their arms up in bed and lie there); but my oh my, the pleasure of doing what you want, how you want, when you want, without argument nor fuss, is delightfully delectable. Plus, they're shorter, skinnier, and less experienced (it seems) and they don't age as much as the poofy white gals do. Nothing against white girls, mind you ... I just LOOOOOOVE those Asians!

I simply don't find most black people attractive. I prefer clean facial lines, well defined lips, light colored eyes, brown or blond hair that's straight or with a slight curl. Most black people do not have these features, so I simply don't have any attraction to them. The ones that I have noticed in the past have all been an obvious 'mix' with some white or European (I'm thinking hunky British models).

I just realized that's why I'm not attracted to Asians, Mexicans, Latinos. They don't have the right facial structure that gets me wet. I don't like round or flat faces.

I don't generally find most black women all that attractive (but some are gorgeous); as noted prior, I do feel an affinity for some Asian women, both physically & culturally.

However, as always, YMMV.

1 - Say something shocking or strange (which leaves them wondering what will happen next)
2 - Say something deeply offensive (makes them angry and looking for faults to flame you with in retort)
3 – Say something sensual (makes them slide their hand in their pants until they find release)
