he is being charged with second degree murder. so your post is invalid.

Is it totally bogus that he tried to fire a second shot and it jammed? It cant happen? or are you just making excuses for the killer??

A it was a .380, not a.38 that is a semiautomatic caliber.
This is a difference that people who know nothing about firearms wouldn't see.

A semi-automatic caliber? Nah, there is no such thing. Taurus M380 is a .380 revolver, for example.

Oh and yes, revolvers CAN JAM , while, I may not know gun makes or specifics, but my hubby knows his shit from being a gun fitter/maker/ and calls your claim BULLSHIT. I wont tell you what he actually said, but the polite version was you are talking out of your arse

And while it is much harder to jam modern revolvers, it is not a certainty they will not jam:

So, were you to say revolvers primarily don't jam, I might find more agreement with you.

But it could have been a Taurus (lots of those POS Taurus' are sold, it could have been a revolver, and it could have jammed, so any attributions here are just a namby pamby as any other, absent actual fact.

A bullet can lodge in the barrel this too is not a jam.

a bullet lodged in a barrel, a blown casing from excessive reloading, a bent star, a worn rachet, many things are a 'jam', it renders the fuckin thing useless for the mo, don't it? same as an improperly ejected casing or improperly seated one, or a fucked up magazine in semi-autos.

I know no such thing.

Just watched the security film of the shooting.
Reeves, according to the reporter said the Oulsen hit him, not with popcorn, but with his cell phone.
Whatever struck Reeves was solid small and had a bright light in the middle of it.
Unfortunately you can't see the firearm in the film.
