Of the number that you know, how many of them have a sincere interest in wagging their junk at other people?
Don't tell me about the people you read about in the news, or stuff you've seen on youtube. Just people you know.
'Cause the trans* folks that I know? It's not like what's being represented on this thread. You're painting these people as someone who would molest your child. The trans people that you know? Are they harming your daughter?
While I consider my experience limited, I just don't see this stuff as correct. If there's ever a person that will attempt to get a private stall or shower? It's going to be the transperson. Most don't really want you (or your daughter) to know they are different.

How come none of you want Catholics banned from public restrooms? As much as I hate to use the example, how many of *those* people actually hurt your children? If somebody carries a crucifix or a bible, does that mean they are a pedophile?
The trans-people I know think it would be totally inappropriate to be showering next to my daughter at the YMCA. At least while they still have a dick. They also seem to have a grasp on the fact that you cannot tell who is a sexual predator by looking at them, and that in the case of those who are the most vulnerable, one should err on the side of caution.
How do I tell my daughter or anyone's daughter to tell the difference between woman with a dick and a predator? Do you want some sort of registration? Special hats? A badge, perhaps? Because I do not think I can get behind that. There is NO trans identity card. Therefore, ANYONE can use any multi-occupancy restroom / locker room they want to.
What is to protect these biological females from assault from ANY person who goes into the women’s locker room?
Many women asked that same question in Washington State, where the citizens here woke up one day to find that the Human Rights Commission had desegregated all the sex-segregated facilities in the state so the Ts could feel safe and supported. The HRC eased the women’s fears by telling them that any faux woman who assaulted them in the restrooms would be in big trouble with the law should he be captured.
Here is what the issue is: women’s sex-segregated facilities are essentially female-only “safe spaces.”
By eroding this, you intrude on the privacy and dignity of women. For men's bathrooms and changing areas it does not matter because men are dirty, scoundrels, fighters, and they put up with whatever in their space.
By breaking down the sanctity of the ladies room, what you effectively do is make every bathroom the men's room and every locker room the men’s locker room.
It does not matter about the Trans crime rate. Women shouldn’t have to justify their preferences for privacy. Parents should not have to justify not wanting their daughters exposed to male plumbing. And women are indeed easily “triggered” often of emotionally traumatic circumstances, by the sight of male genitalia, which many transgender still possess.
