A submissive living near Gary, Indiana just sent me a message stating my profile picture is horrible and I should be banned from the website. This ignorant and in my view pathetic excuse of an American should learn from history as to what happens when a civilian population is disarmed. A good place is: Jews for Preservation of Firearms Ownership or jpfo dot org. Watch the documentary and learn about government murder due to gun registration then confiscation. What disgusts me the most is where she lives (near Gary, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois two cities well known for gun violence due to gang activity and gun hating politicians. What a hypocrite. I love the Bill of Rights, my Republic, and the private ownership of firearms. That's the reason I put a picture of a firearm as my profile pic. I like women who like firearms, are patriotic, and have a basic foundation of American history. I like to try to understand opposing points of view. I'm hep to the fact that some people are paranoid about guns because they don't know about guns and might think "It might go off". Guns don't just go off. But they see a real possibility, due to ignorance, that they could be accidentally shot. But when they get to the point where a picture of a gun offends or scares them, that is irrational. Don't they watch TV or movies ? Or do they only watch kids and cooking shows ? I am pretty sure it qualifies as a phobia, which is an irrational fear of something. What instills this in people ? Are they also deathly afraid of big knives ? Chevy V8 camshafts ? Baseball bats ? Hammers ? All have been used to kill with the possible exception of the camshaft. So, OP welcome to collarwhatever. For the person who PMed you, do what everyone else does to a nuisance, delete and block. That's just one paranoid opinion. The person is probably quite young. I come from a time when about half the people had a gun in the glovebox of their car. Cops would make you open it but not put your hand in it just in case. Hardly anyone would shoot a cop over a speeding ticket but there were still some assholes who would. Thus they used extreme caution. It was a different time then, people also had their car registration in there and usually the cop wanted to see it. Nowadays you can't leave a car registration in the car because you might become a victim of identity theft. The only people who did not want a loaded gun in their house were those with little kids. Sometimes even on a high shelf is no good because those little fuckers can climb. Then if you keep it in a safe it is not readily available and pretty much useless. Six of one, half dozen of another. People with this phobia think that people who have guns are automatically "gun nuts". If that were true there would be a hell of alot more shootings. The fact is having guns is a huge responsibility. And if you like to get drunk or high you have to remember to keep away from them. Ten times worse than driving a car. T^T
