Status: offline 		you know, given his recent (at least since November) posting history in general and his responses to me in particular, I knew to expect some stupid hyperbolic reply.

hey maniacalmystery, no I don't have any instances of "politicians taking over community gardens"---im operating on the conservative/libertarian general principle that things are more often than not better when done by the people than by the government.

you know, like health departments fining kids for operating lemonade stands out in front of their houses? or community gardens falling under the jurisdiction of the epa and the usda (which I believe is already too much of the case).

and if I want to add more to the position, i'll also say that government has little to no business being involved.

you know, as in their efforts going towards essential services and not fringe ones.

to take a page from your book---you could have just asked me to elaborate couldn't you have? instead, you wanted to be snarky. remember what I keep saying?

Its kind of an FR but building on the conversation you both had...

All of us can..and should...be stewards of free speech. I think people can flat out DETEST each other's ideologies, but we all should support each other to protect our basic civil rights. The government strips our civil rights away bit by bit while encouraging all of us to keep fighting amongst ourselves while they do it.

Meh, thats what Ive always believed was shoddy half assed debating. When someone resorts to it, it says more about the lack of substance to their own position than it does to discredit the opposing side. I guess I must be a Nazi too then because although I tend to think leftist when it comes to my thinking, I find myself agreeing with those of you...conservatives and libertarians you talked about who share this view. Id like to hope to all hell that some things go beyond party lines and just become a human being things ultimately. Freedom of speech, a trial in a court of law, innocent until proven guilty, etc...those are things I think we all want no matter where we fall on the spectrum.

Does the fact that I cant stand racist ideology present a problem to my being a Nazi? 😊

I'll stick by my choice. You asked about what racial group. As it turns out, my racial group of choice is quite inclusive. I'm sorry if that doesn't fit whatever narrative you're attempting to push. If I'm a racist, I'm a human racist.
