you know, given his recent (at least since November) posting history in general and his responses to me in particular, I knew to expect some stupid hyperbolic reply. hey maniacalmystery, no I don't have any instances of "politicians taking over community gardens"---im operating on the conservative/libertarian general principle that things are more often than not better when done by the people than by the government. you know, like health departments fining kids for operating lemonade stands out in front of their houses? or community gardens falling under the jurisdiction of the epa and the usda (which I believe is already too much of the case). and if I want to add more to the position, i'll also say that government has little to no business being involved. you know, as in their efforts going towards essential services and not fringe ones. to take a page from your book---you could have just asked me to elaborate couldn't you have? instead, you wanted to be snarky. remember what I keep saying?
