and I suddenly realize that I've let an entire day just slide by ... without doing Even ONE of the IMPORTANT things that were on my "to do" list

Status: offline 		I suspect I look like someone since I did have a birth mother and father..I have to have someone to blame for this nose, my eyes, nearly non-existent lips and hair that needs a full time slave of it's own..but fortunately not like my adoptive family. My surprise was the day I heard my mothers words come out of my mouth...My sons had done something and I started to yell at them..and stopped in mid sentence chagrined. I had sworn I would never, ever, do to my sons what she had done to me, even to the verbal abuse..Mortified I went to my room and made myself calm down. What does startle me is I have the exact same stare as my "mother" the piercing eye of the eagle stare that seems to look directly into your soul and find it weighing. It doesn't help that we both have (had in her case) eyes so dark you cannot see the pupil without a bright light shining in them.

sigh

Status: offline 		I don't actually look like anybody in my family*, not even my offspring or my sister's grandchildren.  People who weren't looking very closely would say that I looked like my Father, but that was because we both had nearly black hair & wore glasses.  Same reason that people would say that to my daughter & I when we both had red hair.

One time, I met a distant cousin for the first time & she told me I looked exactly like her daughter.  I was thinking, "Yeah, right" but followed her to dutifully look at her daughter's picture.  I thought it was a picture of myself!!  So, except for that one other person somewhere in the universe, they actually did break the mold after they made me!!

Status: offline 		Just checking in.  You KNOW I feel craptascular when I am not well enough to sit here and yap with y'all!!  I hate being sick!  Tomorrow is freakin THANKSGIVING, we are going out to Maggiano's, and I haven't had more than half a bowl of soup at a time since Sunday.  Gah!!!!

On other fronts, I have lost weight!  My BOOBS are smaller, my chins...not so much.  Grrrrrr.

Status: offline 		I hate it when I let Spike the Amazing Wonder Dog out without his leash & he doesn't come home for over an hour.  I thought for sure he was dead on the street outside the complex.  He's never done that before.  That's why I let him out off-leash.  Ain't never happening again, I can tell you!!!

I hate that there's nobody to beat for this, even though His Evilness said that I can beat someone.  Anybody wanna volunteer??
