Nahh, just fixed her a plate and sent it over to her.  I was al ittle annoyed, but she might have just been too shy to knock on the door.  I probably would have been if the situation was reversed.  She just missed out on the cookie dough.  That'll teach her.  For some reason, the cookies never make it into the oven around here...it seems to be our favored first course ...

I hate it when the local news shows a little private preschool in MD where they were having a small First Thanksgiving program for the parents and families today, and a group of protesters showed up and drowned out the wee ones' program with their shouting and bs, scaring most of them than anything.  I love it when one of the people attending the program was Native American and said that the protesters should be ashamed of themselves and how ignorant they were behaving in front of these babies.  *bastages*  But, I like the gal who confronted them and spoke out.

I didn't get mine till I was 13 (8th grade), so we shall see what she's got in store for herself.

Status: offline 		I hate myself for allowing myself to be robbed by a one-legged man.

Earlier I was at the supermarket just buying a couple of things and I was in a queue behind a one-legged man on crutches who had a loaf of bread. The checkout assistant checks my things through, I pay and start putting the things into the carrier bags you get at the checkout. The checkout assistant places my change with the receipt on the checkout. Meanwhile I'm struggling to open one of those cheap plastic carrier bags.

Next thing I know is that this guy behind me has scooped up my change and he's off... going out of the supermarket on his crutches. The checkout assistant cries out, I drop what I'm doing and run after him, and two security guards appear and start chasing him. However the supermarket is on an estate and the guy got away.

I've never seen someone move so quick on crutches. He didn't take that much money, just some loose change. But you know it was more the shock than anything else. I mean you don't expect these sort of things do you?

Status: offline 		I hate it when I get violently ill over Thanksgiving and can't keep anything down, including Pepto Bismol, worse, the Pepto was brought over by my ex who then watched me vomit into the trash can every 30 seconds.

My Thanksgiving dinner was as follows, Pepto Bismol,  a slice of white bread, 3 spoons of chicken and rice soup, and a metamucil cracker.  Oh and some mint tea.
