I hate it when I am so exhausted from my day, that I walked outside (to take the trash out as Master instructed) in my fuzzy sweater, purple tinkerbell jammie pants and no bra - WHILE - the teenage boys that live in the house across the street were hanging out outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Three boys, ages probably 14, 15 and 16. HOLY CRAP I AM THE NEIGHBORHOOD DIRTY OLD LADY - YUCK!!!!

please shoot me, I'll write you a note saying it was a mercy kill!

You are not a loser, my Lady, and i love you still, but i share your hates. i'll leave discussion for my journals. It's four in the morning and, even with an infant in the house to tire everyone out, i still haven't managed to sleep.

i hate never having learned to relate comfortably, or even properly, to other people. More generally, i hate.

i hate that yesterday i allowed a man who works for the same agency i do who is at my same level to make me cry. i hate it that he feels he somehow has the right to talk down to me, criticise me, and tell me what the hell to do. i hate that i'm going to have to put him in his place today. i hate that i'm gonna have to pull out my card of "listen here ya bastard...i've been doing this for the last ten or 15 years and you've been doing it for uhm...3????!!!!! And i'm a master's level licensed clinican...You have a fucking bachelor's degree and you suck ass!!! Oh yeah and YOU ARE A FREAKING DRUNK!!!!!"
i really hate having to pull rank on some fucking jack ass mfer...But, seriously...This guy needs to be humbled....He's such a fucking little pussy too....ARGH!!!!

Honie you are one of the most giving wonderful people I have yet to meet. I enjoy our morning chats and hope they continue as the wee one see fit. I can relate to you in alot of ways, and I believe you can do the same.

LadyPact when we open our hearts and allow ourselves to care, we make ourselves vulnerable. But without the ability to do so and to cry when it hurts, it is a very cold and gray world. Do what you can with what you have and help to raise awareness in anyway you can. If we don't fight for them, let our representatives know our ire, then they will continue to line their pockets at the cost of those least able to fend for themselves. It seems they always look to services for children and the challenged first as the place to cut costs..not their own salaries.

Soft...I actually understand what you are saying about relating...it has nothing to do with how kind you are but instead about always feeling like you are on the outside looking in and trying to figure out what it is you are missing that they have. Sort of standing outside the bakery window and being able to smell all the wonderful things and see them, but can't taste it. I was that way about Christmas..it was a very long time before I got it. Not the reason for the season, or the meaning behind it, but how people could be laughing and having fun when all I could feel was dread because of the past, I couldn't see where the joy was coming from. You have our number...call when you need to.

Thank you, poen. You got it in one. Sometimes it feels indecipherable even while i intellectually understand why people act and react the way they do. My head can swallow all the psychology and sociology texts it wants (and i did put time into that in an effort to figure things out), but i lack that connection. It's frustrating. It makes me feel inhuman sometimes and inhumane at others.

Edited to add: i'm going to attempt to take a quick bath while the LB is in dreamland. Wish me luck! The booger has an alarm set for all occasions when i might actually succeed in getting clean.
