True, but there's even more they have in common.

A guess based on MinnesotaOtter: groups on fetlife moderated by and for women? OR maybe (another guess) the only original groups on fetlife still in existence?

<edited to add second guess>

Groups on fetlife moderated by and for women visited by one member in particular whose real name is Petunia and who likes to read the replies while Fluffers, a long-haired brown cat, purrs incessantly in her lap, thrashing its tail a bit when Petunia switches to any but one of those four groups?

Good guess; wrong answer, but - very good catch, Lance! No, I did mean Phillipine.

If they do, it's news to me! It's not bays I have in mind; the commonality is much deeper than that.

Ummm Lance... Puerto Rico isn't a country.  It's a commonwealth of the USA.

Nope! No flags! It goes much deeper than that.

All four islands had indigenous populations that no longer exist.

they all have better food (indigenously based) than stockton/modesto/resno/places that think Denny's is "ethnic"?

They all come from the same place originally (the way Hawaiians came from Tahiti?)

Nope. Interesting guesses, but all of them are barking up the wrong tree. The commonality doesn't really have anything to do with the islands themselves - that is, the connection they have in common is not actually found on any of the islands. And the question Lance asked in his first post was a very useful clue.
