I've heard cayenne pepper in the socks works. I admit I haven't tried this; just put on more socks and/or use a hot water bottle. I bet Tiger Balm would work too.

I admit I have a pair of Totes slipper socks, for when it gets really cold.

They're totally toasty, and non-slip too.

I am so done with this shit. Im the guy that goes in on his day off, covers for other people, and works 10 times as hard as everyone else. Im sick and fucking tired of not getting the days off that I want, Im sick of being out in the freezing cold, pushing carts for 3-4 hours a night, even though they told me they wouldent do that to me anymore.

If it's just a McJob, is it not infinitely replaceable? In other words, why not be "sick" tonight and, if they fire your arse, just go get another job?

Doesn't sound like they're very pleasant employers.

I had one of those while I was working part-time for money through college ... eventually I left, and ended up getting a much better, more pleasant job working elsewhere. The reason a lot of big corporates give the impression they don't give a fuck about their employees is down to the fact that they don't, in actual fact, give a fuck about their employees.
