I admit I had cupcakes tonight..... which I normally would never eat except I've been reading all these cakes posts.... and I gave into temptation. My favorite cake is Tres Leches cake...so cake with milk over it isn't a far jump from cake infused with milk....yum.

I admit that I've got enough Chinese leftovers in my fridge to feed a small army.

I admit that I'm delighted by the Steelers loss. Sorry CollarMe faithful...but I live in Ravenstown. We have no love for the men in yellow and black.

I admit that the only commercial I really liked was the anti-Bieber one with Ozzy.....can barely remember the rest....

I admit the Coke commercial with the 2 guys that were on opposite sides of that line made me wanna cry.

I admit the Snickers commercial where Roseanne got hit in the torso with a tree trunk cracked us ALL up.

I admit the flower ordering commercial was quite awesome. "You have an awesome rack!" Sounds like the card I would send to Red with her V-Day flowers. lol

I admit it I made it home safe & sound from the wilds of NoVa.

I admit it the cake was not too awful, but I don't like cake & Miss Red put an extra blop of frosting on my piece.

I admit it we were talking way too much during the entire game to really notice what was going on.

I admit it we did try to STFU during the commercials.

I admit it Bubba-kitty is teh awesome!!

I admit it he allowed Thing 2 to pose him in all sorts of different ways so she could take pics of him.

I admit it I had a most wonderful day, spur of the moment stuff can be the best sometimes.

I admit it I am happy that the Pack won, as I have a soft spot in my heart for those boys. I admit it one night I parked the truck in a parking lot across the street from Lambeau Field & went to sleep looking at it.

I admit it I am tired & happy tonight & off to sleep like a good lil girl now.

I admit that I did not watch the game.

I admit that I was following it on the computer.

I admit that when the Packers won, there was a cheer being through the place.

I admit that Bo took Lizard shopping.

I admit that they did brought some good stuff.

I admit that Lizard does have a good taste in jewelry.

I admit that Lizard is turning 16 today (really afternoon but who's counting the hours).

I admit that Bo feel asleep on my mattress and I got the loveseat.

I admit both Little Bit and Binx has decided to sleep with Bo and not me...LOL!

happy birthday to Lizard!

I admit I should be in bed, because I am sooo not feeling well.

I admit I am NOT in bed because I'm not a bit sleepy.

I admit that since teh septic people didnt come out Saturday, they'd damned well better be here tomorrow (today? Monday)

I admit that some woman called the hotel today and asked me how close it was to another hotel (a Hyatt).

I admit when I told her I didnt know, nor had I ever heard of the street she mentioned, she got all pissy and demanded to know the managers name and email (which I cheerfully gave her).

I admit that she said it was just (and I quote) "HORRIFYING" that I did not have that info.

I admit she then hung up on me, only to call back about 15 minutes later.

I admit when she asked if there was a manager on duty, I told her I AM the manager on duty..and she got all offended again.

I admti that I (rather patiently, I think) tried to explain that there was rarely more than one person on duty at a time, given the relatively small size of the hotel.

I admit that she then said that it was a poor reflection on the chain that *I* was not able to tell her how far I was from the Hyatt.

I admit I told her "with all due respect, ma'am, I am NOT a googlemap"

I admit it's the morning after the night before.

I admit I'm feeling even worse. Nothing to do with the Steelers loss, more to do with the man-flu ... my temperature is way up, and I can hardly breathe.

Not the ideal state in which to undertake a long drive and start a new project, but hey-ho, time to Harden The Fuck Up :)

That was an excellent Superbowl - the Packers deserved the win as the Steelers just weren't on it at all; Big Ben was off-colour and throwing high, wide and handsome, and Troy was carrying an injury that prevented him making any impact on the game. Bottom line, as I said after the Bears game, is that you can't give a team as good as the Packers a 2TD head start and expect to win. The Steelers ran up against a fairly good team, but one with the best quarterback in the NFL as their leader; Rodgers was near-flawless. Congrats to the Packers and now just a case of hanging on in there til the start of next season :)

I admit I was saddened by the death of Gary Moore :(

I admit I've got lots to do, and little time to do it in, so I'll say "bye bye" and catch you guys later. Enjoy :)

I admit it's funny watching the BBC News bloke trying to keep a straight face as he introduces Christina Aguilera's demolition of the US National Anthem before last night's Superbowl ... they're referring to it as "The Star Mangled Banner" :)

I admit, the halftime show last night was TERRIBLE (I got to watch it on my break)
I admit, between Fergie and the ancient rockers they've had the last few years, Ill take the ancient rockers
I admit, Ill take them because I gaurentee we'll never see someone like, say, Megadeth, playing the halftime show

Kyttyn, i have a soft spot for this man.

A few years ago we took a group of nieces/nephews to a Steeler Meet/Greet type of thing before they went to the play-offs. The LoudOne was a few months old and i carried him in my arms.

When the little ones finally had their autographs and pics, Troy Polamalu reached for the LoudOne. I had no intention of having his picture taken, so i was a bit surprised. But the sweet thing was the ease that he reached for the baby, and how relaxed he was holding him. Just so natural. Of course the LoudOne sensed that this guy was not Mommy and started to fuss a little, and this HUGE man started to sway back and forth and coo to the baby, making him laugh. It was charming to see that.

Thank heavens the LoudOne did not puke in his hair...

I admit the halftime show was a huge WTF moment for Me too. The outfits the peas wore reminded me of a cross between Patti Labelle and George Clinton and Funkadelik from the 70's. Add in the "Tron Dancers" and it's 35 years ago all over.

Oh christ jesus, wasn't it just? Dreadful.

Agreed on the aging rocker front too ... I suspect it's because songs from earlier eras were written and recorded before all the modern technology came in, so bands had to learn them and be able to replicate them on-stage, with minimal external assistance.

I also wonder how much they had to pay Slash to play that riff one more time ... he must be sick of it by now :)

I was chatting to a mate on an open mic (in Skype) during the half time show ... we were catching up on news and I was about to ask him if he was watching the Superbowl coverage when the Peas came on ... all I heard was a bass guffaw and the following drifted through the speakers ...

"What the fuck is that cunt wearing?! You seeing this, mate?! Oh fuck's sake it lights up!"

That, and they didnt have all of this pitch shifting, and autotune, etc. Sure, they had vocoders, but they used it as a different effect, just something kinda cool, like Joe Walsh did during his solo on "Rocky Mountain Way" (great song, by the way, killer slide guitar playing). This is why Im a metalhead, it seems to be the last honest kind of music, molded by years of playing rat infested clubs, with no air conditioning, no extra dancers, and definetly no major label backing.

That wasn't a vocoder on Rocky Mountain Way BTW, but yes, agreed; for some reason whenever I hear those pitch shifters cutting in during a live performance it just sounds wrong.

For a half time show you want something that kicks live ... The Stones or AC/DC or whatever ... not that limp-wristed poodle-pop.
