Status: offline 		I admit I am actually nervous as hell about tomorrow,
I admit I have  to have a gastroscopy and colonoscopy done and tonite I take that delicious stuff that is basically a nuclear form of ex lax, oh joy.
I dont normally whine when Im not feeling well, but right now I could use some TLC.
I admit Im looking on the bright side and have had my mum in stitches giving her benefit of all my bowel jokes(as a fellow nurse she gets it)
I admit I am NOT worried about having anything probing my rear, Im hoping that the sedation will help with yanno... the odd moan.
I admit my gag reflex is liable to be more of an issue.
I have to admit I want to be able to watch it all!

Its that farting that gets you.  Its loud and hard...you never know that you could do it.  Worse than Blazing Saddles.

If the doc is upset over a mighty fart or ten, hes in the wrong speciality:)
They told me I wouldnt be out, but heavily relaxed..which is liable to have me laughing like a mad fool, which is what happened last time!!!

I admit it I was not out, nor even heavily medicated for my 2 colonoscopies & I found them completely fascinating to watch. Sort of like Fantastic Voyage. (Google if you're too young to know about that movie.)

I admit it I was surprised to find out that most people find the procedure painful.

I admit it I have recently discovered why I don't find some things painful that others do, so I'm no longer going to call them wusses.

I admit it is interesting to discover why one's hardwiring is skewed.

Ron, thanksfor the giggles:) I gonna sing the hershey highway song.....
I remember the movie well Linnea, it actually helped me decide to be a nurse( I was very young), and I will ask to watch if im not too out of it.
Im not worried about the pain too much, or  my dignity... had one too many internal exams to be shy.
THis time tomorrow I will be zonked out and home hopefully:)

And yes, I agree. The thing about McJobs is, the amount of crap you should put up with is zero, coz one crap job's much like another, and anyone can get a McJob without too much effort, therefore of one winds you up, just go get another one.

Got a Marks & Sparks near ya, eh? We're getting a Whole Foods in about a mile from me. You have them in the UK; Camden, Kensington, Soho, Clapham Junction, Stoke Newington, & one in Glasgow.
