Status: offline 		I admit that, like Lilly, I am feeling much less confused by my personal reality. This is a wonderful thing.

I admit that I feel marginally dumb for previously causing my profile on the other side to say a bunch of things which may have seemed thinly true for me at the time, but which really weren't. I admit that I think I've got it all fixed now, and set to 'couple' so I don't show up on nearly as many random searches, which means the idjits will pretty much leave me the hell alone. This is wonderful too.

I admit that I sat on the grass in my yard and helped Himself untorque a badly crossthreaded bolt on our tiller today, which made me feel all strong and stuff. It was warm, breezy, the birds were singing, the freshly-turned earth smelled really good, and for a little while I quite forgot that it's still friggin' February. Like, srsly.

I admit that 26 years ago right now, I was in hospital about to give birth to my first child.
I admit that this is the child I mentioned last week as being estranged from the family and having been arrested for a serious crime. I admit that this child is in my prayers, but is not destroying my hard-won perspective.

I admit that the Sun is about to enter Pisces, my birth sign.

I admit that I am blessed. )O(

Status: offline 		I admit that I just found out my 98 yo grandmother passed away, and it is surreal. She has outlived 2 of her children, 2 husbands, and one boyfriend.

I feel like an orphan now more than I did when mom passed.

RIP grandmother......what a life you had and what love you taught us all.

Status: offline 		My prayers and thoughts are with you sub, I lost my grandmother 22 yrs ago and I still miss her every day, she was my all time favorite relative, I was first born and she was also my godmother.  She's my guardian angel and I know she's still with me in spirit.

I admit that I am very much in agreement with LP's post a few pages back.

I admit that everyone has "stuff" and "life" happening to them, but that is absolutely NOT an excuse to go off on someone or to act like a jackhole. Own your bad behavior, don't make excuses for it. (I have to, when I act like a bitch.)

I admit that no one gets a "pass" for stupidity from me. (not even myself)

I admit that my ex's stuff is going into storage tomorrow because having it all over my home is making me claustrophobic and crazy.

I admit that once his stuff is put away, I'm going to clean the shizzle out of my place. (I can't WAIT!!!!!)

I admit that this is going to be a productive 3 day weekend.

My grandmother is turning 98 this year (or maybe it's 99....I've actually lost track!)--sadly, she's lost her faculties and no longer knows me,  but I still love her dearly. She helped raise me, and I was as close to her as I am with my own mother.  My mother and I regularly talk about how much we've learned from her.

My thoughts are with you--I'm so very sorry.

i admit, JAS, i'm sorry for your loss.  i, too, lost an elder from my family which left me with feelings of being an outsider, an orphan. {HUGS}  To know my great grandmother was a singular boon.  i can't properly express what i want to say. Only, i sympathize.

I admit that the Things had a great day with their friends, which makes me a happy Mama.

I admit that I can't wait to get all the stuff into storage, including all the stuff that I have been carting around in the back of my car for months.

I admit that, not only will my home be getting a thorough cleaning, but my car will, too.

I admit that I may go test-drive some potential new (to me) Posse Mobiles on Monday.

I admit that the one Posse Mobile I liked was sold 2 days ago, so I have been looking online for something suitable.

I admit that the couple of sales people I have talked to have been surprised that I know exactly what my current Posse Mobile is worth in trade, what I want to buy, how much I'm willing to spend, and exactly what I'm willing to put down.

I admit that they don't know that I educate myself before making any big purchase and that my ex sold cars for a brief time, so I know all the behind the scenes stuff that goes into a sale.

I admit buying a new car is at the bottom of my "like" list.

I admit I find the whole process a waist of time.

I admit (believe it or not) the sales people that I've dealt with in the past surely thought I was a raging bitch.

I admit I go in knowing what my car is worth, and don't play their games well.

I admit I've been known to get up and walk out of a dealership because of said games.

Status: offline 		I admit...... I went to CarMax for my truck and it was an awesome experience.  I already knew the salewoman (she sold my ex her car about 10 years ago....and yes, still works there!)

I admit.... I went to Ihop today and had a big stack of pancakes.  I was set for waffles but then I couldn't resist the strawberry syrup as I was driving by...

I also had young Things with me when I went to sign the paperwork, etc., and told them, "If this isn't done with some sense of expeditiousness, my kids are going to freak the hell out, and I will drive my old car right the hell out of here. So, full disclosure and all... you know, so..."

I admit that I was there for more than an hour, but they had a huge play area and they were ok.

I admit that I don't flip out on sales people, I just tell them going in, "I have just so much patience in this process. If I don't like you, or the car I test drive, I will leave and go somewhere else, because I can."

I admit that a couple of places that I saw vehicles that I liked, I called and talked to the sales guys in advance, and have already told them that I have several places that I'm checking out, and if I like the car at their shop, and it gets sold before I make a decision, so be it. It's just a car, and they will have to get their commission from someone else."

I admit that two of them gave me a "blink-blink"... I just know it, I sensed it over the phone.

I admit that I never take a man with me when I buy a car because the sales people talk to the man and not me.

I admit that when I bought my current car at CarMax in 2004, the salesman asked if my husband was going to need to see it and test drive it first.

I admit that I said, "If he actually had money to pay for it, or I actually cared what he thought, maybe yes... but I'm in the middle of divorcing him, so better just impress me, ok?" (The salesman laughed and said he deserved that from me.)

I admit it I really just wanted a nap, but I knew if I did that I'd be up all night.

I admit it I was awake before 5am & have had my breakfast & I'm ready to go take my shower & think about what I want this day to be.

I admit it I am going to have to make a choice between 2 things fairly soon.

I admit it I am trying to not overthink this, but to pray & meditate on it & see what happens.

I admit it I bought a new car in 1987 & I went with the idea that I could afford a certain amount per month. The first salesman I encountered said he couldn't help me so I went to a different brand & this one understood that my lowball was just that. We negotiated & he came in 1 penny under my top amount, so I bought from him. That was a great car too, Miss Lily, my first girl car.

I admit it I paid off this car I'm driving now last year & I have no clue what I will do when she dies.

I admit it this is the first car I've owned who has no name.

I admit it I think that the last time I bought a car NOT by myself was sometime in the 60's.

I admit it I hope that we all have a perfectly beautiful day!!!

Status: offline 		Thanks yall......she did live a helluva life, when I think that she was 2 years older than I am now, when I was born, it blows my mind.

I dont think I ever heard her say a bad word about anyone, and I have never heard a bad word said about her. She lived alone intil a few months ago, delivered meals on wheels to "old folks" when she was in her 80's, was called out of retirement at 77 to go back and be the head nurse at the nursing home she passed away in.....I am so proud to have know her, and even though I am selfishly grieving for what I have lost right now, her life will be celebrated by many.

I admit typin that made me laugh and cry.....ha!
