I admit that my son went to court today to fight for joint custody of his son.

I admit HE WON!!!!!!!

I admit that I'm beyond ecstatic.

I admit that I'm dropping the admits to say:

I'm very disappointed and saddened by the length my grandson's mother went to fight this, and for no other reason than it was inconvenient now that she's moved to Wisconsin for my son to see his own child. Because she moved anyway, despite having been served papers, is one of the reasons he was granted joint custody. She literally outright lied about never receiving any childsupport (she was receiving state assistance - for child care and foodstamps and not reporting the money he gave her as income.

We still have to work out the logistics of picking him up - because of the lies she told, and to keep the peace, I have to be present to pick the child up and when he's with his dad (basically I am the oone who won custody, I guess.) Because she's been bringing my grandson to my home every weekend (and holidays) for the last year she couldn't really justify saying anything bad about ME - so I get to be Switzerland in their war games.

Anyway. Yay!!!!! I get to see my grandson TODAY! First time in almost two months! Oh yeah, my son gets to see his son too...but I GET TO SEE MY GRANDSON!!!!

I admit that I totally understand about difficult relationships with moms, and having lost same without being able to fix it. I admit hugs to Lance for this, and Welcome Back; you are loved.

I admit that, after all my ministrations, it does not appear that my beautiful Kai kitteh is going to make it. The raging infection and resulting decay from the spider bite, which now appears to have been a fiddleback/brown recluse, have compromised his inner systems. I admit that the only thing left is to keep him warm and as comfortable as I can, and wait.
I admit that it is almost never too late for a miracle. Almost.
I admit that if I don't get to use my miracle on my kitteh, I'll be passing it on to Japan. I hear they have a shortage there..

I admit I am assuming that your view comes from having been to the vet.

I admit, in case I am wrong, you might want to read this one:

http://www.vetinfo.com/treating-spider-bites-on-cats.html

I admit I am aware of individual circumstances and how it affects the feline body, so only you will know, but thought to post it.

I admit I hope you get your miracle

I admit I am glad to hear that

I admit if I would be in your sons position I would let her sign every future payment he makes when she already omitted such factors, just in case (unless of course if he pays her via bank, as then the can track it back anytime anyway).

Glad to hear such an outcome and happy for your grandson, for you son and for your grandsons grandma

i admit *hugs* to greedy

i admit that it's always nice when kids get to see their parents; it's terribly sad when people play petty power games with the future of another little human. pisses me off.
i'm glad Win's son won more parental rights. that's awesome.

i admit, treating brown recluse bites can be scary but can be done. Phoenix's link is pretty great -- it's basically the same when a human gets bit by one. remove the dead/dying tissue, give medicine to slow down damage and help with any infections that have set in, etc etc.
i also admit to hoping that SorceressJ and Kai get a miracle

(i admit, a guy i knew in the past was bitten by a brown recluse, and he had no insurance and couldn't afford the doctor. he let it get worse and worse until he finally had to go to the ER. he would come to class but you could tell he was so sick; he was literally green.)

i admit, today will probably be a laundry day. got sheets and blankets to do.

I admit I'm really happy for you, Winnie.

I admit that some folks just bring out their own personal worst selves when a relationship ends and it can almost seem like some have a lifelong desire to stick it to the other person.

I admit one of the best ways to know how a person will treat you is to watch how they treat others through their time in divorce/family court.

I admit, playing Switzerland might be something of a pain, but I'll bet you can't wait for the payoff!

I admit....I cant stand spiders

I admit thats one of many reasons why I treasure my cats...as they are my defense mechanism, usually detecting spiders before I find them.

I admit, without my cats, I would not have lived in my previous place for even 3 months...as there were a lot of spiders...so with them I lived there for 3 years and 3 months

I admit I am glad that here are less spiders going on

I admit whilst looking for the other link earlier I stumbled over one which I can't find now But it was very interesting as it explained how often our common house spiders would be predators to spiders such as Hobo and reclusive and whatever their names are, but that often we remove them already leaving then more space for Hobo and co.

I admit this link isn't as good as the other one, but still sort of a summerisation of the link which I can't find now: http://www.orkin.com/other/spiders/hobo-spider-enemies

I admit when I looked up those 3 spiders (as I don't know them) I checked where they are and it did not mention New Zealand.

I admit, in case I am wrong, please don't tell me

I admit, since I figured out on another thread that one spider with (i think) has white feet who does take a chomp on humans at times without even being disturbed, I have more a look about where they are due to my relocation plans...

I admit I am amazed how many of these spiders i don't know over here...and nope, I have no desire to get to know them

I admit I wish I would like spiders more.

I admit that I am glad that at least, these days, I am fine with most spiders and only get a higher heartbeat if they are bigger and thicker than I like...so the normal thin legged ones can live next to me for a long time...as long as they keep silent when my cats are near me and don't get too close for comfort.

I admit regular nightmares during childhood were spiders which I could see soon after falling asleep despite none being there...they made me regular jump out of bed approx. 4 times per week on average.

I admit whilst overall I overcame the reason which I associate with those 8 years of nightmares I still have 1-2 times a year a moment where I get a bit panicky due to seeing a spider where is none when I am in a state where I believe to be awake but actually still sleep...

I admit, when that happens I regular reflect my own wellbeing (emotionally) to try to understand the reasons to lead to them...

I admit thats enough now for me about spiders...though reading a link similar to the one on here made me realise that once I do move, not to chuck out every normal spider...cause i know now that what might follow could even be worse

I admit that the second funniest thing I can think of right now is Red's telling of her spider encounter in Sri Lanka: http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=1934677

I admit that the number one funniest thing I can think of right now is remembering Red telling it in person, impersonating her mother-in-law, complete with dead-on accent.

i admit, i used to have a knee-jerk reaction to creepy crawlies, but i've worked it down over time. if possible, i move the critter elsewhere, or chase it away. when some of the creepies eat other much MORE creepy creepies, those less creepy creepies suddenly become not so creepy. =p back home, we sometimes got some pretty big Wolf spiders; so big you'd think they were tarantulas. i've seen some pretty big ones up here, too, and we had a friend in OK we used to visit, and her kids would try to eat them. =p Jumping spiders were the least offensive ones back home -- skittish little dudes who didn't want much to do with people. =p
speaking of jumping spiders, it's not often that i say this about a spider but holy hell this is cute!!!!
http://www.neatorama.com/2009/01/10/adorable-jumping-spider-faces/  (not suitable for those with severe arachnophobia =p)
and then of course, the Writing spiders -- they'd make giant webs from our roof, to a tree in the yard, to a car in the driveway (i have no idea how) and sit right in the middle, like a big black-n-yellow X. they were so cool to look at, but their huge webs were so annoying. =p

i admit, i tried out my smoothie maker for the first time and i've fallen in love with it.
mango puree, berry mix with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, some raspberry soy yogurt (trying to be more mindful of some of my tummy triggers), and orange juice = smoothie heaven.

I admit I finally decided which will be the new vet for my furrys, as I dont want to drag Urmel to my previous vet when he hasnt had food to get fixed...way too long to drag him there in such a state.

I admit I also decided to get Urmel neutered middle of next month when I get my next money in, though have to wait with it until his siblings are born as I cant put away the food for an evening when summer is preggy...or at least I don't consider it to be a wise choice.

I admit I am relieved about how little they charge for neutering.

I admit I hope the reviews on their page are genuine, cause then they seem to be as ok as the previous vet has been.

I admit I thank you for that link...and don't want to imagine myself in such a situation.

When I visited peru aged 16 I thankfully didnt consider such possibilities and assumed that the spiders in our video which we got as a memory (we stayed 2.5 weeks with out guest family and travelled 3 weeks around the country within our group which included 5 days in the rain forest which was awesome...and took me ages to pay off my parents from my half I paid from it)...I assumed that they sneaked those spider parts of the video in from a documentary or so...so maybe I was wrong about that

But such rather big spiders are the only reason why my focus is only on New zealand moving wise and not on australia...sad but true

I admit I had the same thought today...and would do so in NZ if necessary...not over here as here I am sure I don't need them, though. I think I would get those bees or wasps, whatever they were mentioned in the link, to sort out such other spiders as I don't mind bees and co.

I admit I also worked it down over time and am way better to handle it these days but it would still need a marathon to get to a level to cope with the big ones in australia...

I admit that link did not work here

I admit I also started smoothie as I wanted to go on that diet but leave that now for later....as I am not disciplined enough to make it work enough for my graduation...

I admit I will start now the lemon crash diet again next week and then decide end of march if I bother to go to graduation in may or not.

I admit that nevertheless I am glad to have the juicer and will use it regular for breakfast after my attempted crash diet as I am not really a breakfast person.

I admit I huge hugs for SJ, and will continue to pray for little Kai.

I admit congrats Winnie!  But also...you're old enough to have a grandson?

I admit I find it very sad when parents are so selfish that they put their petty need for revenge over the needs of their child/ren.  Kids need family.  If possible they need both parents.  Anyone who tries to take a source of support and unconditional love away from their own child - just because they're butthurt - fails at parenting.  Just imho.

I admit I dont want to come off as a dick with the admit that comes next, but I am sure a few may take it this way.

I admit I am so sick and tired of people asking me to donate things for Japan.

I admit I hate it because so many of the people that are asking are trying to guilt me into giving.  I dont like being guilted into any damn thing.

I admit asking is just fine.  If I say no, I say no.  Move on to Sally.  She may say yes.  Not a big loss.  Dont tell me that without my help, thousands will go hungry.  I know people are going hungry all over the world.  Not just Japan.  Dont tell me that if I dont help, someone wont get their meds.  I look at my dad and see the effects of that shit.  Just ask me.  And walk away when I decline, asshole.

I admit I am on a news/places where volunteers ask for donations strike.  I cant handle it anymore.

I admit if anyone is offended, I hope you can find it in your heart to atleast lemme know in a nice way.

I admit I need a time out.  Someone come get me outta the corner in 2 hours...
