ORIGINAL: LillyBoPeep i admit, i used to have a knee-jerk reaction to creepy crawlies, but i've worked it down over time. if possible, i move the critter elsewhere, or chase it away. when some of the creepies eat other much MORE creepy creepies, those less creepy creepies suddenly become not so creepy. =p back home, we sometimes got some pretty big Wolf spiders; so big you'd think they were tarantulas. i've seen some pretty big ones up here, too, and we had a friend in OK we used to visit, and her kids would try to eat them. =p Jumping spiders were the least offensive ones back home -- skittish little dudes who didn't want much to do with people. =p speaking of jumping spiders, it's not often that i say this about a spider but holy hell this is cute!!!! http://www.neatorama.com/2009/01/10/adorable-jumping-spider-faces/ (not suitable for those with severe arachnophobia =p) and then of course, the Writing spiders -- they'd make giant webs from our roof, to a tree in the yard, to a car in the driveway (i have no idea how) and sit right in the middle, like a big black-n-yellow X. they were so cool to look at, but their huge webs were so annoying. =p i admit, i tried out my smoothie maker for the first time and i've fallen in love with it. mango puree, berry mix with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, some raspberry soy yogurt (trying to be more mindful of some of my tummy triggers), and orange juice = smoothie heaven. I admit I had the same thought today...and would do so in NZ if necessary...not over here as here I am sure I don't need them, though. I think I would get those bees or wasps, whatever they were mentioned in the link, to sort out such other spiders as I don't mind bees and co. I admit I also worked it down over time and am way better to handle it these days but it would still need a marathon to get to a level to cope with the big ones in australia... I admit that link did not work here I admit I also started smoothie as I wanted to go on that diet but leave that now for later....as I am not disciplined enough to make it work enough for my graduation... I admit I will start now the lemon crash diet again next week and then decide end of march if I bother to go to graduation in may or not. I admit that nevertheless I am glad to have the juicer and will use it regular for breakfast after my attempted crash diet as I am not really a breakfast person.
