I got a simple cell phone (tracfone) and I use it when I am traveling. When Mom uses it, she is going to Arkansas. Bo and Lizard has their cell phones (I know she does a lot of texting). I know I can text on mine, but it is a waste of time for me. I got over 1400 minutes on it and it rolls over when I top it up every few months.

I admit everyone is about to learn what a Luddite I am, because I've never sent a text message either.

I admit I don't even have a cell phone activated unless I am traveling.

My cell is the only phone I have (or want), but I try not to text - usually I just call the person back instead. Really, the only time I will initiate a text is when I am not sure if the person is (at that moment) in a place where a ringing phone wouldn't be welcomed (i.e. place of business or worship, for instance).

I admit I much prefer texting to talking on my phone. I hate talking on the phone...to anyone (even Mr sometimes)
I admit it is awfully convenient to have a way to keep in constant touch with Mr while he is at work without feeling like I am intruding on His job...I can text and He can reply when He gets a few seconds rather than have to answer His phone and give me His attention RIGHT NOW for a few minutes.
I admit it is also much better than Him not being able to answer the call at all or even answering and telling me He needs to call me back because He is in the midde of something He cannot take His attention away from.
I also admit that I like it because it is a way for me to keep in touch with my kids without having to intrude on thier lives at inconvenient times. If for instance my daughter is spending time with her boyfriend or out having fun with friends or even driving her car, she doesn't need to be bothered by a phone call from Mom...but she can quickly shoot me a text back when it's safe/conveneint and I feel ok hearing from her without feeling like she is blowing me off.
I admit I also like it because you can text pictures back and forth and I have gotten in the habit of taking dirty pictures for Mr while He is at work and sending them just for a giggle.
I admit He has learned to check His texts from me when He can shield the screen of His phone away from other viewers *grins*
I admit I also love it because it requires the constant use of one hand to talk on the phone, but with texting I can set it down and keep both hands free most of the time and continue to do whatever I am doing and can read the text and reply when it's convenient or me...that's especially nice when I'm driving...I can get to the next corner and pull over to read/reply rather than have some of my attention on the road and some given to a phone call that may not be important enough to take away from driving for.

So, all you ppl knocking texting, there are some positives about it ;)
I admit I do agree family gatherings should be a video game/ text/ phone call free zone cuz otherwise it's just fekkin rude! ;)

i admit that i was awakened by my eccentric neighbor blasting music next door, and maintenance workers drilling in the basement. i'm grumpy as hell. bah humbug.

i admit i recently turned off my cell phone after having one for seven years. my world didn't implode and my hands are now free to do other things besides answering nonsense via text all day.

I admit that the only way I can get my daughter to respond to my calls to her is to text her. She hates to actually talk on the phone. I'm ok with it though most times.
I admit Master is growing a goatee. I'm still not sure what I think. I've never seen him with facial hair before. I think I like it though. I need more time.

I admit I love not having to go to math class tonight and I don't have science lab this week because of the holiday. Woohoo!!
I admit Master reminded me of all the little chores I've been putting aside or forgotten that I need to do.

I admit I just can't seem to get with it lately.
I admit I'm feeling awful about it though and plan to get as much as I can get done tonight.
I admit it's time to forage for food though for tonight.

i admit that i washed, dried, folded/hung, put away 3 loads of laundry today. That's all there was in the hampers. Finished? At least until we undress tonight.

i admit that there is some ironing left to do... later.

I admit that all you texters and cell phone users should leave your phones at home if you ever come to Alberta. We have what is called a "distracted driver" law, and they go after anybody talking on a cell phone that is not hands free, texting, eating, putting on makeup while driving, and even driving with a dog in your lap.

I admit a 4th grade kid was smart today...

I admit recently I deleted most of his writing on a maths page as most of it was wrong....using an ink remover eraser correction pen (or whatever you call it) .

I admit last friday i deleted all of his written homework in German cause all of it was wrong....again with said pen...

I admit today he showed me his homework...and wrote it straightaway with the ink remover eraser correction pen so that I am unable to erase it with it

I admit he outsmarted me on that occassion....and I give him a win on that instance

though it's my job to help him to make his homework correctly and its not the best really, preventing me from doing so in the first place

I admit that somehow after watching a music video on Youtube, I ended up watching a mans funeral, then the squeezing of huge blackheads and sebaceous cysts.

I admit I am lightheaded and may not be able to walk.

I admit our immigration interview is set for December 19th. I have butterflies and heart palpitations already.

I admit I am sick of minivan drivers. I think everytime I drive they are out there to try and kill me. Tonight, as I'm attempting to leave Safeway, one tried reversing OUT of her carspace, INTO ME 2 TIMES!!! I admit I had a session earlier this afternoon and I'm feeling kind of.. umm... wired. I don't want to say manic... but it's very close... can't sleep, brain is going at a million miles a second, I just rearranged my room for the second time tonight. *sigh* I took some tylenol pm about 20 minutes ago and hoping that it kicks in soon.
