I admit I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hioliday,or whatever else is celebrated. I admit I was supposed to stay for my dad's g/f family supper tonight, then a secret Santa exchange, but he was in such a panic last night with a threatened snowstorm for tomorrow, he made me drive home today. I admit my sister got me the cutest gift EVER. It's called a Penguin gourd, it's a real gourd, they grown into different shapes & sizes, mine is painted to look like a penquin. He's sooooooooo caaaayoot. She bought herself a snowman gourd. I admit my dad and I were both in tears last night when I finally got upstairs, I was/am so tired, I just couldn't take it anymore. My car radio wouldn't turn off, I was exhausted, at the end of my rope, the whole nine yards. I admit my dad says it makes him nervous to have me drive in snowstorms (I'm not), but he's getting older and he worries about me a lot more. I admit his g/f bought me a lovely sherpa throw. Can't wait to sleep underneath it tonight. I admit I got my dates really screwed up on Sunday night. I thought Monday was the 23rd and I had an entire day to get my running around done. OOPSIE. Found out the 24th was already here, since it was 12:15am, had to pack, didn't make it to the bank or pick up my smokes, got my shopping done for everyone and packed. It was a hellacious day and I was up at 5am to get ready to leave for dad's. I admit I went outside to find 6" of snow and ice covering my car, doors frozen. Took me 45 minutes to clear that up. Then the driveway wasn't plowed right, so took another 30 minutes to get myself unstuck from that. By then I was running too late to get some of the errands done. Went and did the shopping, and headed to my dad's g/f. Brought wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much shit with me again. I admit I got home about noon today, unpacked the car, got changed and have been napping on and off since then. I am overly tired, and need the rest. I admit I know this is long, but had a bunch of stuff to get off my chest. I admit YDD, I have a recipe for perogies given to me by a Polish lady who's son was a great friend. I still have it. Dough is done by hand, mine are always potato and cheddar, and I use my pierogie pogey to make them. Hit me up if you want, I'll look for the recipe. I love them and they never last longer than the time it takes for them to come out of the boiling water.
