Common misspellings on this website...the, and, is, a, in, on.
You are being far too generous in your examples.

I have a mild case of dyslexia so I have to work very hard to catch mistakes. It really irks me when I let one slip through (and, of course, I usually find it after the edit button disappears). I try not to be judgmental about other people’s errors but sometimes...

Count me amongst those who get mildly annoyed at people who don’t know the difference between their, there, and they’re, as well as the difference between then and than.

I would like to add to that people who don’t know the difference between affect and effect.
 
"Poor sales will affect our bottom line."

"The drug had a negative effect."

I had a seventh grade teacher who drilled into us that there is no such word as lets. It is always let’s, because it is a contraction of let us.
 
Redundances also drive me nuts. My favorites are one’s like "male penis" or "female vagina."

My ultimate language pet peeve, however...

The phrase, it was all he (she, they, etc.) could do. I’ve even seen well established and respected authors use it. For example: It was all he could do to keep from laughing. The problem: nobody ever says what it is!

Oh yeah, one more thing people:

Your – possessive. It is your problem, not mine.

You’re – contraction for you are. You’re in deep trouble.

I just don't care if someone misspells a word or two. What are you gonna do about it? Spank them?

Thank you for pointing out those other definitions.  I was merely attempting to simplify it for those who had problems with those words.

Edited to add:  One would think I have a "those" fetish from this post..  Thankfully, that isn't the case.

I misspell words on a regular basis.. but at least I have a excuse
English is my second language....... and I have certain words that I just cannot spell or pronouce for that matter...

I keep a copy of Webster's New World Misspeller's Dictionary next to my computer. Even with using that my spelling and grammer piss people off. lol

I’ve never seen that movie so I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about but writing the above sentence did remind me of another common mistake: the difference between idea and ideal.
 
Idea: a thought

Ideal: optimal

Amen to that! Two usually doesn’t give me any problems but I do have the bad habit of always using to even when I should be using too (and don’t even get me started on who and whom).

As for having a mild case of dyslexia, typing is where it mostly manifests itself. I’ll often transpose letters and sometimes I’ll even write a word backwards. Not just small word like the but even larger words. The strange thing is that if I deliberately try to write a large word backwards, it is difficult and I have to think about it like everyone else but somehow I’ll be typing along and without thinking about it out will come gnikniht. It is one of the reasons I hate chat rooms and texting, with all of the corrections I have to make, I just can’t peek up. I can read a book no problem (thank you, God) but I have a strange tendency to read signs wrong when I glance at them. This isn’t something I do occasionally but almost all the time. Common signs (like a stop sign) aren’t a problem but all others, well let’s just say I often have to do a double take. The results can be humourous at times. For example, driving down a highway once I saw a billboard advertising "National Whorehouse." Oh, wait, it says "National Warehouse."

Oh my, I just realized a word in just about every journal I have written was incorrect.  Thank you for pointing that out, indirectly.

A word I often see spelled incorrectly.....privilege    not priviledge

I find typing the word 'experience' to always be a troubling....well, experience...just doesn't want to come out right and I end up backing up a few times 'til I get it right.

I see mesmorise quite alot...when it's actually a word based upon the ideas of Dr. Mesmer....it has two options for spelling
mesmerize and mesmerise....but either way you look at it, there's no 'O' in the word

just for grins.... experience, experience, expereince, experoieence, expereience....see, I just make a mess of the word!
