We've seen often enough on these boards that some men value women solely by their looks. Therefore it only makes sense to me that these same men find self value by fucking women they deem valuable. If a pretty woman has value because she is pretty, and Mr. Man has fucked a lot of pretty women, then Mr. Man must think he's really something as a result. So it's his way of telling you he's "all that." Frankly someone yapping about all the sex they've had in the past isn't that impressive to me. And looks only carry a person so far until he opens his mouth. Some of the most shallow, unappealing men I've been involved with were hot as hell to look at.

i agre with ownedgirle - they say it as a way to build up their own self esteem and think somehow because they can get a pretty girl to sleep with them that they are somehow more appealing. But on the flip side of that - what about the guys who make it known they would screw anything that moved - that screwing and getting over on women was somehow a show of how manly and virile they are - equally disgusting [:'(]

puella, that is to let you know that we can bag a babe. Most men want to be with women they can show off, no one wants to be seen with a woman that looks better with a bag on her head. It is human nature, and men are proud of having been able to GET women that are pretty.

Then they would go on to say the relationship just did not work out because he had a bus to catch in the morning and he promised to lock the door on his way and out and everyone went off with good thoughts of their experience.....<snaps out of it> I am listening to a Benjamin Franklin autiobiography and the author's claim is that Ben perpetuated his own "ladies man" reputation in order to make himself even more popular with the French so they would loan more money, men, and ships for the revolution. Maybe these guys are stockpiling. Ben was doing this in his 70's, too. The author's story is that for one particular honey, Ben had some competition from a 90-year-old Frenchman who was heard to lament, "Oh! To be 70 again!" Same old story, new generation.

Different ways of looking at such a statement. Some say just profiling and filling them out as most do...is a form of advertising. Most of us with such a profile (not all for sure) are afterall..soliciting. To throw out "I have fucked a lot of pretty girls" suggests that he believes that is a 'selling' point but even if true...possibly meaningless. Those 'pretty' girls could have been unexpectedly desperate and they may have been mostly one-night-stands and very possibly for a good reason. I have to think that if a statement like that is true...then he is STILL...fucking a lot of pretty girls.
