Was this just an on-line thing?  Or did you meet in real life?  I'm trying to figure out how he kept people out of your life, like your son, if this was all on-line.

I am thinking back... there was a large partition that I couldn't delete, change, get into... whatever.  I am a novice here.. so forgive me... I also have a poor memory in tech stuff.  I have learned a lot in this... and I guess my lessons are far from over..

KatyLied,

It was online.  He has only kept people away from me because we are afriad he will get to their computers as he has with four people close to me.  He can't touch my in person life... but I have little of that because of my disabled son.

Sounds like he'd be easy to get.
There's all kinds of things you can do to him!!!

So he likes to play huh?

I like the part where it says that filing a false police report can be either a misdemeanor or a felony.

Of course, conviction of this leaves you open to be sued for loss and damages both real and punitive.

Think twice, then put the phone down, set up a more secure internet, and file a "do not trespass" order with the D.A.s office.  He trespasses, the D.A. files a restraining order, etc.

There was a site that someone linked in another thread, and it's for on-line harrassment.  I can't remember where I saw it.

I'm actually afraid to email anyone here and such or talk about it other than on the thread... just in case... I don't want anyone else having a problem.

I didn't read your links Sinergy, but I think along with solicitation, in some circumstances a conspiracy charge can be added (maybe I watch too much crime drama), and that can be some serious punishment.

Conspiracy was mentioned in the solicitation, one of them is a sub-category of the other.  If I remember correctly, trying to pay or convince somebody to commit a crime is worse than simply conspiring them to commit a crime.

But I dont even play a lawyer on TV.

ok..a little tip.. have you tried starting the PC up in safemode without network? Do that, go to task manager and write down the PROCESSES (not the list under the applications button)
Reboot the PC normally again, go to the task manager and write down the processes that appear there. Compare them and you can google the ones you've no idea what they mean. I can do this for you if you would like me to. Also go there http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html download hijackthis, it's for free. Run the program, save the log and send it to me..or post it on here I'll run through it and see if there's something there. I sent you my yahoo addy in the msg and I'm telling you just send an email. If he can get to me through that (I doubt he will be able to and I'll boost up my security just in case) then I'll probably be able to figure out how he does it and how to stop it. If not I'll reformat I don't have shit on the harddrive atm anyway I keep everything on an external drive.

sounds to me like he might have a "keylogger" program on your pc! each button you press transmits duplicates to the monitoring pc. it is also possible to run your pc by remote operation (technically you have to allow that, but... if he had access to your pc?) personnel at your isp also have full access to your doings, and could pass on info with the right inducement, they give details to langley all the time. yahoo messenger is one of the main ways hackers can introduce rogue stuff into your pc, or watch what you are doing, and i won't have it on my pc. nutter are nutters, they never stop, by the way, tell the police, and keep telling them!!!

LOL, Morgan, sure they do. You just have to know how to "talk" to them is all!
Too many fuckin' lawyers in this country.
And, when they do get a good "talking" to it has to be *overwhelming* so that they are no longer "capable" of doing anymore hijinx.

you might also read this post by me (an answer to someone else) listing what i use to keep my pc clean, read it all, as hijackthis is not simple to use or understand;

the other progs mentioned are equally as vital, as a minimum!!

The police told me to go to circut city lol and have them trace the guy... once I had a trace on him and what he was doing, bring the info to them and they would see if there was anything they could do.

The FBI told me that because it had been months since he had verbally threated harm to me, it was an old case or not current enough to do anything about.  I asked what about all the computers this guy was killing... no answer...

The guys at circut city had me going in circles and didn't fully understand... until I had to keep coming in to buy things.  Then suggested something illegal... lol

I had personal things on these hard drives... the lifestyle... people I had lay counseled... I wanted to protect everyone in the end from having their lives exposed.  So... no more anything embarassing on my next computer that goes online in a public manner... lol... but at this point... I don't care... this guy needs to be stopped.  If it isn't me... it will be someone else.

The police told you to go to Circuit City?  How was Circuit City going to trace someone hacking into your computer?

Sinergy, that's what *I* would do and have done.
I'm Dominant, I *protect* my woman.
And in many cases the cops couldn't care less about these creeps as they've had to deal with them too many times with no success on their part.
"Good! The mother fucker got what he diserved!" "Case closed, no witnesses."

lol that's what I asked the police...  I guess I am supposed to fund my own investigation and give them the rewards of that so they can look good when they catch him! lol

nope popeye, you are wrong! you can rip some nutters arms and legs off, but when they get out of hospital they still come back, because they blame what they got on their victim. if they can't come back, they pay someone else to do it. nutters is nutters, and their hate is their only interest and keeps them alive.
