ORIGINAL: Grlwithboy Personally, and this may apply to no one else, I share my toys because they feel *more* mine when I have the right to pass them around at my discretion and have them back with other people perhaps a little jealous that I have them. It's a shameless ego thing, for which I'm totally unapologetic. This is exactly why I do it. The only things you can share are things you actually own. Sharing them is proof that they belong to you. Until you do something with them that one can only do with property (sharing, selling, transfering title) the Ownership is purely theoretic. Taggard If it's something they want you to do, what is that proof of? Is it ownership or submission to "force" someone to do what they want and enjoy? John It can be. I don't think *only* things that push people's willingness are signs that you own them. Frankly, if he likes it, that's nice for him. It's not why I'm doing it though. Yeah, I agree. But he's portraying this as some sort of "proof" of "real" ownership. Which I don't think is defensible. John Oh, yeah. I inferred that he was saying this was what butters HIS bread, I could be wrong. FWIW, I see it the same way, but I'm heavily attached to the objectification in M/s.
