Hi James

Exactly. After nearly two decades illustrating 'mainstream' BDSM imagery and stories I'd had a belly full. I got cold snake eyes from shibari masters in Tokyo when I casually remarked I found rope bondage boring and protracted (I prefer zip ties).

The whole Master slave thing leaves me feeling cold...more so when I see the Matrix lookalikey kids poncing around at 'Fetish Parties' making a pantomime out of something I can't and never turn off. Are you listening Kumi!?

After two failed D/s relationships with ex-Insex models (if you 'know', you'll understand) I bought a dog. A real pet. It actually gave me more about D/s relationships than Gloria Brame.

My new petgirl is a success. She is trained and nurtured, not surpressed or restrained. It's not easy but it helps to see her completely as an animal. As a pet.

WOW....how unfortuate for the woman...to each there own i guess.....

camille65 -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 3:43:34 AM)

Why would you say the woman is unfortunate?

There are a lot of people that really enjoy pet play.

callofzion -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 3:49:15 AM)

Because for some reason, she's running all over the boards tonight acting superior and treating other people as if their kinks are stupid, sick, or otherwise disturbed. It's quite lovely.

camille65 -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 3:52:12 AM)

[&:] Now that is what I call unfortunate. Dissing someones fetish or preference just isn't nice.

Can't we all just be nice huh? Huh? [8D]

*goes back to her puppygirl daydream*

MissMagnolia -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 3:59:26 AM)

This isn't a funny question (well it might be a bit!), do "pets" GO in the garden or the toilet? I'm wondering because a friend only allows her subs to do their thing in the garden. I haven't asked her if toilet paper is used. There are some things I don't need to know.[:D]

sbenson -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 5:01:13 AM)

Master / slave. Substitute 'Owner' for Master and 'Pet' for slave.

Got a pet dog or cat? Imagine having a relationship with another human based on those terms. Having a pet is s a form of D/s relationship we've all had at one time or another.

sbenson -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 5:05:02 AM)

We get a lot of models/women coming to our site for 'petplay'. They enjoy being treated like a pet. I know a lot of people who treat their pets better than the humans around them.

If youve ever had a pet you'll know that a domesticated animal is treasured and pampered even though it exists as property.

The assumption that treating someone like an animal is inhumane is flawed. No pun intended.

sbenson -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 5:06:31 AM)

My pet uses a cat litter tray, which is great for her on a dark windy night. I have to trudge down two flights of stairs to go to the toilet!

sbenson -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 5:07:35 AM)

Your "puppygirl daydream" is something we should discuss!

well aren't you the cat's meow.....

5 minutes after reading this, and I'm still snickering.

To the OP. I refer to myself as an owner as well, and sometimes call my slave my pet. Despite her having a cage and dog dishes, I do not keep her as an animal. I tried that once with a girl, and was bored to tears by her limited service ability within weeks. It was certainly fun at first though.

LaTigresse -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 6:04:20 AM)

I am thinking about it this way. I know how the animals are treated on my farm and who is providing service to whom.....

So far this morning I have been forced out of my cold medication induced coma by two large demanding female canines, started her highness'es breakfast. (only homemade fresh whole doggie food is good enough ) walked the two demanding bitches, started my coffee, fed His Royal Pain in the Ass (the cat ) gone back out into the muggy hot summer morning to trudge through a muddy lot and halter two spoiled equines to escort them out to their beautiful 8 acre park like clover filled pasture to lounge under the big oaks all day. Come back inside, sit down to a cup of coffee (finally!) turn on my computer. Now I sit here with one dog beside me on the leather love seat and the other staring at me from the leather sofa, impatiently waiting for their breakfast to cool so that I can mix some freshly chopped meat into it and feed them. I will then take them back out to run and.......do what dogs do after they eat. They will then come in and find a cool place to stretch out, sofa or my bed, while I get dressed to go out and mow, repair horse fence, weed gardens, etc..... And so my day will go.

NO, no girl of mine will be treated entirely as an animal pet around here!!!!!!!!!

*hijack*

Oooooooh LaT I love love your new pic!!

sbenson -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 7:07:58 AM)

That's funny. And true. But I'm guessing you don't have sex with your animals.

My petgirl pays for her keep ;-)

MissSCD -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 7:33:09 AM)

This is as good as "Where Is Master".  Too bad you are not in the US.  Someone would set you up for sure and should.

Regards, MissSCD

sbenson -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 8:17:53 AM)

Set me up with what?

I'm everywhere. Just got back from Tokyo. Next stop Vienna and Prague..then back to Tokyo and then Vancouver. Trapping women.

How unfortunate for those who can not comprehend the joy of others.

I love being my Master's pet.  I was unfortunate when forced to live a "vanilla" life.  I wonder, do you find vanilla women unfortunate too?

imthatacheyouhav -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 10:54:20 AM)

I was simply saying that as "humans" we are all wonderful articulate, diverse, people...and to take that away(or thats what i interpret from the OP) is kinda sad to me....perhaps there is more to this...however i wouldnt know that because instead of trying to explain the nuances people are just getting upset and exploding......

ownedgirlie -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 11:00:43 AM)

Okay, well here goes.  I am a human.  I am a beautiful spirit which my Master loves and uses and enjoys.  In that context, I am many things to him as his slave.  One of which is his pet.  It fulfills me to be objectified and treated like an animal at times.  It feeds me to reach into the depths of my core and become so primal that I can growl and snarl and be yanked around on a leash and eat out of a bowl and be patted on the head and be cared for as one cares for a loved pet.  None of that takes anything away from me; rather it bonds us together because it is SAFE to be those things to him and I am grateful to him that he lets me.  It is SAFE to explore that part of me which was left stifled for so many years, because of partners who thought it was sick or ill or pitiful to even have such thoughts.

For further insight, I might suggest you read the thread about sharing fantasies, and why so many are afraid to share what they'd really like to explore - because of being met with rejection.  Do you realize your post of being sad for those women was a complete rejection of anyone who might otherwise want to share these delights?  Rather than ask, you rejected, and that is why people reacted to you as they did.  Mind you, I don't see anything here in the way of being upset or exploding...perhaps we have different definitions of that.

Please take a moment to go back and read your posts. The words you used were negative and dismissive. You don't come across as someone curious or interested in any other view because you are so strong in your own POV.

I'm glad you "completely understand" because i'm lost...what is this "pet" thing?...what does it entail?... the OP stated treating the person like an animal...is that the kink?

It is possible you are unaware of how your words are being perceived, that is why I ask that you go back and read.

MsCameron -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (7/28/2007 11:20:25 AM)

How very interesting :)

Would you mind describing a "day in the life"?

What about mental stimulation? Is she a pet at all times?

I've known people to do this for a day, a night or even a weekend. I find it fascinating.
