although i am not a "pet," my former Dom a/k/a the One to Whom was i under consideration ,,,, enjoyed things such as leashes and collars, i always used a kitty box unless with my parents or in a public bathroom ~ and if we had stayed together i know there would have been eating out of a bowl, laying on the floor with my head on His feet, etc.  actually, many of these activities i see around the boards - a bowl here, a leash there.  although i do not think i would like to be someOne's 24/7 pet, but i definitely grasp it and think it's something i would like incorporated in my life when i am owned in the future.

one of this pet's favorite quotes... so true, and sooooo fun.

"Of all the toys available, none is better designed than the owner himself. A large multipurpose plaything, its parts can be made to move in almost any direction. It comes completely assembled, and it makes a sound when you jump on it."

WOW....how unfortuate for the woman...to each there own i guess.....

How unfortunate for those who can not comprehend the joy of others.

I love being my Master's pet.  I was unfortunate when forced to live a "vanilla" life.  I wonder, do you find vanilla women unfortunate too?

Agreed. Pet play can be a lot of fun and just like "normal" master/slave relationships, there are tons of ways to do it. Some are more extreme then others, but all satisfying to those in them.

I was simply saying that as "humans" we are all wonderful articulate, diverse, people...and to take that away(or thats what i interpret from the OP) is kinda sad to me....perhaps there is more to this...however i wouldnt know that because instead of trying to explain the nuances people are just getting upset and exploding......

It's really not much different then being a slave. Some slaves have to pee in bowls because their owner says so. Some pets pee in litter boxes. Some slaves sleep on the floor. Some pets sleep on comfy pet beds.

Aswad -> RE: 'Owner' not Master (8/5/2007 5:03:51 AM)

Greetings, Orion.

The movie has been mentioned on this forum in the past, and even some people in the scene here in Norway seem to have heard of it. I was planning on waiting to hear feedback from a friend with tastes reasonably congruent to my own; if he thinks it's worthwhile to watch it, I'll order it. The trailer was not all that impressive, as I recall. You will probably find some references to the movie by searching the forums, but if you've seen it, that's probably redundant.

Best wishes,
al-Aswad.
