If he is responsible, you should be fine. Remember that this is a part of your body designed to stretch enough to let a baby pass through (assuming we are talking about vaginal fisting). Patience is key. Your muscles will naturally relax and expand. I recommend that he wear exam gloves (latex, or polyurethane if you're allergic) with a sillicone based lube. Bare-handed you run the risk of his skin absorbing the lube too quickly and then, well... things get complicated. If you are scared and tense, it increases the odds of you getting hurt, though. As for how far he goes - that's up to you. Some people never relax enough to get all the way to the wrist. It's also subjective depending on how big his hands are! *edited to correct oversight

It's something I've wanted to try but felt alittle wierd about because I was worried first of tearing and then of becoming to loose. however,it's such an exciting thought that I knew I wanted to give it a try. Having tried it I think it will take time and patience to get very far. As for being sore it is a delicious sore that I throughly enjoy! Thanks all!

When you decide to try it don't feel bad if it does not happen on your first try. The key to fisting is LOTS of lube and go very slowly. It isn't something you just open up your legs for and the fist falls in. i found that rubbing my clit helps and i relax more and open up a little easier. Make sure your partner is wearing gloves and that his/her nails are covered or cut short, put lots of lube on the hand and on your vagina and go slow. The fist is not actually made until inside but i am sure you or at least your potential partner knows that. well my former Master tried fisting me the 2 years together and wasnt ever able to complete it but, His fists were 9 1/2 inches across. I never had my kids naturally due to being too narrow as the Dr said. Who would figure since im a big girl...... I've done this with a number of subs over the years. As long as you are patient and use a lot of lube,you are not likely to tear the vagina. But this is something one works up to over time-don't expect to do it the very first time it's tried-and do NOT force it..

I have a grade 1 prolapse caused by childbirth - forceps delivery and episiotomy with the first and a tear with the second[&o] I'm going to the gyn soon for an assessment but my doctor seems to think I may not need surgery - yet - just more physiotherapy to help with the minor stress leakage. I guess if you are prone to it, especially when your hormone levels start dropping prior to menopause, too much stretching there could cause any weakness to show up as a prolapse. Maybe fisting will be out for me [&o]

We have been fisting for a couple of years now. It took awhile to get her to where she could take my whole hand, but isn't that most of the fun. Hi BlouLady, Not something i have tried, but there is a book available that is more of a guide to fisting. It has sketched pics, and heaps of information, techniques, safety issues, aftercare etc. I cant remember the authors name, but you may be able to find it on a search. Its called : A Hand In The Bush. Good Luck n

It is very informative, but my Master has a very large hand (the author of the book is a lesbian and much of the book seems geared towards folks with smaller hands) and we can't get past the bottom joint of his thumb. I wish we could... I've tried relaxing as much as possible but it's very painful and I guess despite my best efforts I tense up. <sigh> One day, I hope.....
