Status: offline 		Um...I always wondered why Dracula and vampires didn't just go for women who were...producing. Not really necessary to do the whole, dramatic neck-suck thing and make their victims into vampires too, right? Also, they bit the men too, but no mention of homosexuality, so if they were, say, homophobic vampires, they could skip that whole uncomfortable interaction too. I'm just saying...

i have engaged in it before and i think in most cultures, periods are considered taboo or dirty. as such most women tend to be adverse to engaging in this sort of play.

personally i have no aversion to it. i have noticed a prevalence of this fetish amongst european mistresses and slaves, it's a little taboo stateside, sorta like scat.

i used to have a boyfriend that loved everything about worshipping a woman on her period so i never had any hangups about it. i find it to be a very womanly and empowering time of the month for me.

i do however respect the right of people to be turned on or off by certain things. i'm not in to roman showers, but i would respect the right of anyone in to it. i j prefer not to engage in certain acts whilst other acts i find perfectly fine- yet others may be completely turned off by them.

It may be because they didn't want to produce any fangs down in there when they were turning them women into vampires.

Ok, maybe. However it seems to me that vampires are "in the lifestyle," what with the biting, blood, that whole, grab-and-bend-her-over-backward action. So I don't think the fangs all up in her "area" would be troubling to them. Saying...

Not my thing.

However, the strength of my emotional reaction tells me there's power there. I just can't see retaining that strength while also making it disease safe. And that's not a disease risk I see myself making any time soon.

As for the OP... this would not be my fetish but hell everyone has a right to rock their boat their own way and not have someone rain down on their parade. The name of the game is enjoy not destroy. well...it was with legs spread and more on her back/hips than on her butt...but yea, sitting...lol

Status: offline 		Its not a fetish for me but not a big deal either.  All my lovers with whom I am fluid bonded have always behaved no differently orally or otherwise during my menses than other times of the month.  Shrugs.  Its not something I requested just was.  And o's for me seem to come easy and intense during meneses.  As to pad and tampon play - that gets an eww from me.  Old stagnant fluids = squick to me, but what ever floats your boat is fine - just not with my fluids you won't. 

I guess because I came of age preAIDs and my first partner was the man I married  - his lack of concern over my menses set the stage for me to have few thoughts about it one way or the other.  Might have also helped that my mother is an ardent feminist and in my teens made me spend 4 hours per week volunteering at the lesbian and feminist book store in order to get "educated" in a different way.
