This is getting to a point where I am wondering if you even have a sense of dignity or know that only a healthcare proffessional can tell you if you have damaged things permenently.

When you get an infection because you did not get checked properly for a fissure you will know that your hesitation in doing what is correct which any adult would do you may end up costing you more then your dignity, pride and preservation of your private bits.

mistoferin -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:45:22 AM)

I'm done. There has been a lot of good advice offered to you here. If you choose not to take it and there really IS something wrong and you wind up shitting in diapers for the rest of your life....remember that we did at least try ok?

I think I understand now why you've been getting those e-mails telling you to grow up.

....and one has to wonder how much pride and dignity she will feel with shit running down the back of her legs.

mommydomme4fem -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:52:33 AM)

ROTFLMFAO - I am thinking about how she would have to have large quanities of laxatives to keep the waste from blocking up her colon and then have to thoroughly clean the area before applying antibotical ointment to her hole 3 times a day.....or having to have a hemorroid pillow to carry around to make sitting bareable.

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:56:39 AM)

mommydomme - Besides all my excuses, I have nothing, and no insurance. I really *don't* want to go, but I'm considering it now. If they do tell me I have actually torn the muscle and not just the lining/skin as with fissures, it doesn't look like there's much that can be done anyway as far as I can tell.. Except surgery that is kind of iffy.. and I have absolutely no way of paying for surgery.. so...  And I suffer with a serious medical problem that I've gotten no help from doctors on (lupus among other things), so I've been a DIY sort of girl since I figured it out myself in high school and had to force them to test me for it (and was right), and the search the old fashioned way - trusting dr's - wasted years of my and my parents' lives and basically all of their savings - and I *had* insurance back then - only for no one to listen to me. Now I don't even go to the doctor, get any regular blood work, etc, unless it was an extreme emergency and I could afford it at the time - I order generics from India over the web, that look, sort of well scary, instead of paying for them here, because I *have* to. I don't like worrying. I've through that found doctors will usually spend about 30 seconds with you, and run out the door, and take every penny, and do nada. So if I can figure it out on my own, I do.

Just to keep you happy, I checked, mine is nice and round, reasonably tight and firm all around!!!! So... I doubt it but maybe you did break your arse!!!!! Now take all these nice people's advice and visit your gynecologist, beg nicely for her not to "Rape" your vagina...or curl up and die!!!!!

--- I read it, and didn't feel the need to reply to such a comment that was only intended to be hurtful. But thanks for the information, anyway, I did note that it was the only actual answer to my question I have gotten to date, when you said it. Thanks for checking that out.

--Mistoferin, it wasn't meant to be, it was meant to be a recognition of the strength it takes for her to go through something that major..

I have read some ridiculous things on message boards in my time but this really takes the award.

Go and see a doctor. If you really think you have a problem with your anus they are the only people that can help you. If you go to the doctor and tell them you have a problem with that part of your body they are not going to suddenly give you a vaginal exam. If you are not bright enough to know that the 2 of them are not connected then all the research on the internet has done nothing for you at all.

As for asking others what their anus is like how the hell do you think that is going to help you. Everyone is different. But if you really think it will help I will describe mine. I do not have one. It was removed when I had all my intestine taken away. Now compare mine to yours and see if that helps you.

If it does not GO TO THE DOCTOR and stop behaving like a 2 year old.

mommydomme4fem -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 3:17:00 AM)

Health comes first.  I hate Doctors personally but oh yeah I still go to get my monthly needles, because even though I am dominant in character for the most part I know someone will kick my ass if I do not do what is needed to keep me healthy.

I know in the world of Tops/bottoms, Masters/slaves Dom(me)/submissive Health and well being comes first.

If you question the money aspect then go to a local university clinic even if it is just a nurse who does the examination it is better then self diagnosing.

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 3:20:06 AM)

MD - there is no university near by, and when I was in school, it cost just as much or close to as anywhere else, and they didn't take anyone else but students and people who worked at the school... I went to a clinic for something else in another town that's supposed to have a "sliding scale" and they charged me full price - which ended up being more than going to see a regular doctor, though I dunno how someone can make less than zero. That's the only supposedly "cheap" place around, because I've called the local government to ask.

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 3:23:38 AM)

MD - I wish I knew someone cared enough to kick my ass about such things, I call up my parents and whine about how I can't afford medicine sometimes, and they tell me about all the money they spent on me while I was a kid and how I should be buying them stuff to pay them back, etc. My Dad is a PT and he's the type that would walk to the hospital while having a heart attack instead of paying for an ambulance. I was 18, and I had a severe case of pneumonia, and couldn't breathe. I had the RA at the dorm take me to the ER, because it was at night, and my Dad almost killed me for the bill he got and said I should've waited for a doctor's appointment no matter how bad it got - and forbade me to ever go to the ER again, lol. I guess I can't blame him, I think it was 2,000$ he paid..

KatyLied -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 3:26:34 AM)

Wow, this thread is a hoot.
If you have a problem with your asshole visit a proctologist.
Don't ask a group of strangers on a message board too feel up their ass, unless this if your particular kink, because we're all cool with kink.
I think I lost some dignity reading this thread.  But I did laugh, so it was worth it.

mommydomme4fem -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 3:32:25 AM)

There are free community health centers all over the USA - do a google search and call one to enusre the costs of an examination is free.

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 3:39:45 AM)

MD, there isn't any here or in neighboring towns. I have never lived in a town that had one, and I have lived all over two states. If there are some that are hiding, that wouldn't be in the yellow pages, etc, and you know how for me to find them, I would very gladly take any help, please PM me if you know?? I have searched yahoo many times, and asked around, and called some local depts. I have never lived near any metropolitan areas...

Well thank you for your comments on our behaviour. I suggest you go back and read the thread again. Asking total strangers to describe in detail what their anus looks and feels like so that she can compare hers instead of getting medical help is the action of a petulant child. It was Hermione that kept bringing up the subject of vaginal exams not anyone else here. If she does not have the sufficient knowledge to understand that her vagina is not her anus then god help her.

If anyone thinks they have caused themselves damage in this way the obvious thing to do is to suggest getting QUALIFIED medical help. Nobody, and I do mean NOBODY can make an accurate diagnosis on something like this without seeing the damage in person.

As for the rest of her posts all I see is her making excuses as to why she cannot go to a doctor. Too expensive, nothing local. If someone is really worried about damage to their body they will make every effort to seek the correct medical help.

All I see from this thread is her acting like a drama queen. What on earth would she be like if she ever suffered a serious medical condition.

You're welcome. Hope the midterm report cards read better.

Again, I'm pretty sure she knows the difference between her ass and her pussy. I'm also pretty sure she's right that if she does go, then she will be given a full exam. Whether that is good for her or not isn't the question, since she has stated quite categorically that she will not be going. SO, you could insult her, or you know, you could try and be helpful.

Yes, I agree, a health professional is definitely the way to go, however, it's already been ruled out. It's not exactly admirable that the help stops there. "You wont go to a health professional, so regardless of your reasons or the validity of them ,we'll let you deal with it in continued ingnorance". Now, I'm not a doctor, but I do know that the majority of asses are more or less the same. Is it that hard to say "well, mines a tight puckered pink ring, pretty much evenly all the way round"?. You know thats like.. .hmm... 14 words.

Yes, too expensive - I can believe that, at least one of my best friends in America is struggling to pay her rent on a weekly basis, doctors visits are fairly low on the list of priorities. Likewise, there are places called towns where they dont even have taxis or buses, and people who live outside these towns frequently become self reliant. Likewise, getting to see an actual doctor can be a struggle, and you're just playing guessing games if the doctor is actually competent. Then there's the whole "how much does your father earn" since she's not 25, she'll be income assessed on her parents, not soley her own income. Potential there is to put her at just enough to not get assistance and not enough to actually afford what she needs.

From the other thread, she has PCOS, and probably already has signfiicant medical bills from that. Stacked against that, having a doctor look at your ass, rationalising it as not strictly necessary - it's still functional, particularly when you dont particularly want to, is going to seem an unecessary perhaps even unjustifiable expense.

And I think you will find she does suffer a serious medical condition, but it's probably not one that you need to know about - but the PCOS, the fragility, I would definitely say some sort of autoimmune disease.

This has got to be in the running for the most bizarre thread ever on Collarme.

It may be in the running for second place, but something like this is really just an appetizer for the serious insanity you'll find here:

Tap, tap tap

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 4:38:55 AM)

That is a psycho thread... But I really don't understand why some common Gymnophobia, a lack of health insurance, and a question related to anal play on a BDSM site, in the health issues thread, is considered insanity, or the resulting defensiveness around a gang of bullies.

MadameMarque -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 4:49:47 AM)

Okay, I'll play...

Try this, http://www.ahirc.org/cat_list.cfm?cat=31&st=x_IN
and here, http://www.ahirc.org/state_indx.cfm?st=x_IN,
for starters.  If it doesn't feature a clinic near enough to you, call the ones listed, and ask for guidance, till you find what you need.

When you are seen by a low cost clinic, they will decide whether you need to be referred to a specialist (unlikely, I'm strictly guessing), and probably, if you are referred by the low cost clinic, the specialist will also treat you on a sliding scale, by arrangement with the clinic.

You should also start looking into whether you qualify for Medicaid, in your location.  But for the immediate, the low cost clinics will charge very little, and won't turn you away, for inability to pay.

Also, call a couple of hospitals.  They usually have nurses to answer questions over the phone, and help people decide if they need to come in.  Tell them your concerns.  I've heard people who've worked in the ER talk, and your story wouldn't lift an eyebrow.

But know that every single medical professional is going to say that they can't say much, till they see you.

If you want a female doctor, ask for one.  If you're concerned about breaking your hymen, discuss that with them.  All they need to know is that it is part of your religious practice, concerning your hymen, your modesty, etc, and they won't mess around, because in some cultures, this sort of thing could mean your life - that is, if a woman's hymen were broken, before marriage, she could be shunned or persecuted by others in her culture.

If you need a support person to accompany you to the doctor, either take someone you trust and know, or ask the clinic for a recommendation.  Tell them you have serious problems, in coming for medical treatment.

You know what you felt like down there before; now you say it's different.  That's as much as anyone here can tell you, too.  If you'd torn the lining, you'd be bleeding.  It's likely you bruised yourself, and that swelling is what you're feeling. There are many blood vessels near the surface, there.  Or, maybe you have minor hemorroids.  Even if you torn one of the muscles that contract, around the area, you'll probably be fine.

But just in case you need treatment, you must be seen right away.  Problems internally, especially with something like your digestive tract, can get serious quickly.  You don't want to mess around.
Pain is a message.

You're asking for advice and information.  But what if the answer is, yes, there's something seriously wrong, and you need medical attention?  What if it were a loved one of yours, asking your advice, for the same reasons?  Would you tell them it's better they suffer peritonitis and die a hideous death, than go to a doctor?  Is that what you'd want for your friend or loved one?

I've given you the benefit of the doubt, here, and taken you seriously.  If you are serious, then you need to take it seriously, too.
Good?

Well perhaps when you get your head out from up your ass things will make a bit more sense to you.

IF she has damaged herself enough to be worried about it then she would go to a doctor instead of asking a whole bunch of unqualified strangers what their ass holes look like.

As for being helpful everyone here has been.  They have told her to seek QUALIFIED medical help. If you think you can diagnose her problem from here then go ahead but the rest of us who are rational adults know full well that a diagnosis online means nothing.

Yes she does have problems and that is evident in her postings on this thread. Where you make the leap to it being autoimmune is certainly beyond me. Perhaps you would like to show me your medical qualifications that allowed you to make that diagnosis from what has been posted so far.

And on a side note being a Master does not mean you have to be arrogant and rude.

An excellent and worthy post, MadameMarque. That is more like I expect from peers in this arena.
