Really.

Domin8tingUrDrmz -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:06:10 AM)

Oh ffs, go to an ER doc, surely in your rural area, you will be fortunate to avoid having a qualified gynocologist or proctologist exam you.  You will likely be fortunate enough to have a med student specializing in ear, nose, and throat perform the exam.  Does anyone think the ear flashlight thingy would help in checking her rectum? Hmmm.

Hermione, these people are telling you to seek professional medical advice so that you may receive any help that is necessary.  Would you tell a person who appears to have a bone protruding from their body to avoid seeing an orthopedic specialist for fear of...what...fixing the problem?

If you cannot be responsible enough to take care of your own health, and preserve your good health (who cares about your hymen) for your future husband, why on earth would he consider you worthy of marriage?

Wow, what a thread.  I have recently been diagnosed with bone cancer and it has cheered me up no end to find out that someone has more serious medical problems than me!

Get over yourself and get to the doctor.............

Why ask here for advice and then denigrate those who give you some?

psst...because it's all about attention, positive or negative.  All her posts are like this and I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis, best wishes to you.

Hey how about we all give Jill some attention  instead?

Gosh! I thought a major miracle genius like this girl knew about the little bits of info as far as hymen and messtrual flow etc?

Imperforate hymen: An imperforate hymen can be diagnosed at birth but sometimes the diagnosis isn't made until the teen years. An imperforate hymen is a thin membrane that completely covers the opening to a young girl's or young woman's vagina. Menstrual blood cannot flow out of the vagina. This usually causes the blood to back up into the vagina and the abdomen (belly) resulting in abdominal and/or back pain. Some teens may also have pain with bowel movements and difficulty passing urine.

The treatment for an imperforate hymen is minor surgery to remove the extra hymenal tissue and create a normal sized vaginal opening so that menstrual blood can flow out of the vagina.

Obviously she has forgotton that the hymen already has a hole in it if she has ever had a normal period

I do believe she inadvertantly added a "!" in front of her IQ, because most girls that I know that have a brain, know about that little piece of info. Maybe we're all being taken for a "Fun" ride by the OP.... her version of "WANK"??????

GeorgeJames, I'm aware, and have seen the small hole in the center of the barrier, and felt it. It's not enough to get a tampon, or a finger through, and if you stick forceps or a plastic ring inside, that stretches one open, it would break right through the fragile barrier that has a perforation. As stated above, it can be broken doing the splits or riding a horse. Having something stuck inside and opened can't be a good way to hang-on to your hymen.

Domin8tingUrDrmz -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:14:32 AM)

That's pretty much what I thought when she led off with the fact that she loves anal, and then kept asking everyone to describe their anus.

Jill805 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:15:02 AM)

Thanks Laurell3 - going to need all the help I can get, but dont want to take over this serious thread!

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:17:21 AM)

laurell - I have asked two questions total on these boards. All I wanted was answers, and that is why I came to post on the boards.

Jill,
You seem to have a good attitude about it though, I hope the best for you that's tough stuff.

georgejames68 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:19:51 AM)

you keep harping on your hymen and how it'll get damaged by a simple inspection for the problem your experiencing. As I said in an earlier post, your arse and your hymen are on opposite sides of your body. If your such a dunce about such things, I don't see where anyone here can help you even if they were to do handstands in the middle of broadway.

Besides I gave you the description of my own anus.... didn't you bother to even read that post???????? Go get a life!!!!!!!!!!

WAIT? your response to a woman telling you that she has been diagnosed with cancer is give me more attention?  Forget the gyno/proctologist, get immediately to a psychiatrist, because despite your self proclaimed intelligence, you are clearly in lala land and no one here can help you.

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:20:42 AM)

Jill - I'm am so sorry about your bone cancer. Someone in my immediate family had non-Hodgkins lymphoma in the past few years. It was horrible, and he almost died, and was in the end stage, and had quit chemotherapy, and then spontaneously recovered, and he hasn't relapsed. I wish you a super duper speedy recovery, and that the road isn't as long for you. *hugs*

Jill805 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:23:36 AM)

Thanks for the good wishes from everyone - dont want to hijack the thread so will do my favourite vanishing trick now.  Good weekend to you all.............

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:24:14 AM)

GeorgeJames, again, I realize all of this!! If you go see a gynecologist, they are going to want to give you a regular, full exam! Thank you for the description.

georgejames68 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:24:54 AM)

Hermione, I answered you in my post #38, second paragraph! That happened to be a serious answer if only you'd read it!

George

Well I'm sure THAT cheered her up...

hermione83 -> RE: Did I break my.... (10/6/2007 2:30:06 AM)

Just to keep you happy, I checked, mine is nice and round, reasonably tight and firm all around!!!! So... I doubt it but maybe you did break your arse!!!!! Now take all these nice people's advice and visit your gynecologist, beg nicely for her not to "Rape" your vagina...or curl up and die!!!!!

--- I read it, and didn't feel the need to reply to such a comment that was only intended to be hurtful. But thanks for the information, anyway, I did note that it was the only actual answer to my question I have gotten to date, when you said it. Thanks for checking that out.

--Mistoferin, it wasn't meant to be, it was meant to be a recognition of the strength it takes for her to go through something that major..

As I have already explained to you that the doctor can do an exam(if they determined that you needed one, which I can't imagine seeing as it's your asshole that's broken) and keep you intact, why are we back to that again?

Not to ditract from what George said, but there is all variety of of personal situations.  Regarding Hymens, I know that they are not the same.  Not because I'm a doctor, etc, but regarding a woman who couldn't have sex with her Boyfriend (my best friend), because her hymen was too strong ( envision a knight with a spear like in that one movie trying to get thru her chastity belt, came to mind).  I asked my dad about it and he did impart what little knowledge I'm about to share: yes, some women cannot have sex unless they go see a doctor to surgically get it removed/opened because its too strong to break normally.

Perforation and covering, etc, all varies.

You are not the only person who rather die than get medical treatment, think of the AMISH and their beliefs.  Makes me wonder what their life expectancy is....

If GOD has a sense of humor he gave you a extremely strong hymen so you won't be able to break it with a spear, you'll have to go to a doctor before you can enjoy your honeymoon.  [:D]
