The late Christopher Reeves?

Sr? or the one of superman fame who is in wheelchair? Supposedly a curse to those who played that role.  As well as the curse of doing Poltergeist.

No one.

My home town has under 500 people.

SDFemDom4cuck -> RE: Your home town. Who famous (besides yourself ha) comes from your town? (10/13/2007 8:46:33 PM)

Decatur, IL according to Wiki

It's also famous for being the hometown of ADM (Archer Daniels Midlands) and the lysine price fixing scandel involving Mark Whitacre. It was the highest fined company charged with price fixing in history. The town is also famous for charging Jesse Jackson for enciting a riot and jailing him for several days in 1999.

My father was close friends of Mr Ambrose (he came to dinner and stayed at our house often when he was in the area) and Mr Peck.

Reprazentin' Naptown, yo!

http://www.imdb.com/BornWhere?Indianapolis,%20Indiana,%20USA

Personal highlights:

  • rode bikes with Mike Epps as a kid. Then his family moved into an apartment complex where I wound up living after moving back to Indy.
  • wrestled against both Abe Benrubi (Jerry from ER) and Brendan Fraser in high school. Got disqualified against both of them.
  • Had the privilege of being Kurt Vonnegut's bitch as a volunteer when he came to the dedication of the new Indiana Historical Society building on the canal... No, I don't have as good a story about him as I do about Ginsburg or Etheridge Knight or Rita Dove, even.<sigh>
