Intimacy is a huge boost in sex for some people others like raw sex, I like to mix them and see what happens but with one nighters in this day can be deadly even condoms dont always work, you end up with a woman who squirts multiple times and sure shes protected and your covered, so I try and stay away from them anymore its just plain safer and if its at your house a lot less clean up!

I have, but not by choice. I was young and naive and I assumed there would be more. The sex was great but afterward I felt like shit. I wouldn't do it again.

Never had a one night stand. Many of my friends who drank did and they regretted it. i like to be in control and engage in things with full consciousness and knowing i am not going to regret what i did. Not to say i have never had regrets but at least i can't blame not being in my right mind on them. Never understood the appeal and i am with CL on this one - the risk of STD is too high.

It seems many have yet to feel the benefit of having some meaningless fun in their lives. Safe sex and sex whilst drunk are other topics entirely.

Like no one in a "committed" relationship has ever woken up with a little crab doing a fanciful jig on the tip of their nose to the tune of "guess who strayed". I'm sexual and not in a relationship, and though I don't mind someone calling me "slut", I'm far from it. I take the precautions I must with any sexual encounter. Those in "committed" relationships generally let down their guard, and thus become just as vulnerable as the rest of us little whores out here. Just saying ya know. chia* (the pet)

True you don't have to be drinking to engage in one night stands, it's just been my experience that the friends who reported they have have had one night stands also reported they had been drinking when they did so.

I've had my share of one night stands....Can be cool, however alcohol always seems to often play a part...Which can dilute the experience...Fuck, I've had one day stands....The true measure is the ever elusive trifecta....A rarely accomplished feat in which you nail three different women in a twenty four hour period.....Group doesn't count. On the whole,(no pun intended) some form of getting to know someone is more appealing....So go ahead with your one nightstands...Armed to the hilt in condoms...Or call the doc and get a mountain of antibiotics and a sedative for lotus so she doesn't blow a gasket.

I have never had a one night stand. I will not, either. Aside from being blaringly unsafe, I get nothign out of sex if there is no deeper connection than the purely physical That cant be built the same day and abandoned the next morning. DV
