The "block" feature is in the lower left corner of the box. It is a red "hand". The paddle is extra. lol

i will, I'm a little surprized by your words on this thread. Kinda snotty compared to what I've come to expect from you. I realize that part of it was that you attempted to be subtle a few times and instead were ambiguous--this often happens on the internet--but then you followed with vitriol instead of responsibility. I think you usually do better than that, or are you hoping for some cyber Lave soap washing? ;-)

Concerning the original subject. Would a female submissive expect to pay a male dominant for his time or to help finance his dungeon? I certainly don't. In fact, male dominants are more likely to provide for the finnancial needs of their submissives. All for a bit of pleasure? So in this way there is a very clear gender difference regardless of who's on top. The guy still pays. Such is life, but not for everyone. The original poster was a man disheartenned by what seemed like all his dominant prospects wanting something from him other than him. It could just as easily have been a vanilla complaint.

Women will sometimes complain of being used as sex objects. Men will sometimes complain of being used as success objects. That's just the society we live in.

There was a strong objection to the phrase "prostitute with a whip" but I happen to think that postitution is a perfectly honorable profession. If a prostitute is honest with clients, avoids false promises, and provides good service, then she should be proud. The same can be said of a pro-domme, or a lawyer.

Status: offline 		I appreciated hearing from someone who knows whereof they speak. Good to see a thread where Pros aren't getting bashed for not being real Dommes or not part of the lifestyle. I am a part time Pro Domme and have a nonpro stable of two so far. I know I am part of the local lifestyle as are all the local Pro Dommes I have had the pleasure of meeting. They happen to be Ladies who are very good at what they do, enjoy what they do and saw an opportunity to make a few dollars doing what they love and are good at.

Most of the Dommes on personals sites are not professional, those who are, are up front about it.
Try getting out to munches and events in your area http://www.soj.org/groups.html you will need to be willing to put in the time and effort to get to know people and develop friendships. Dommes tend to watch prospective subs to determine suitability, sincerity and attitude, so get out & talk to Dommes & subs on a social level without expectations.

Status: offline 		WayHome, Not that I do not find the comments you made true in some instances, but..... In general, I know of very few Dominants, either gender, who totally support their sub/slaves. I have on many occassions paid for the males meals, housing, and personal toys. As have other Dommes of my acquaintance. I will acquiesce on this one point, it is the way of our world to require two incomes in most instances to make ends meet. This is NOT a whine, but a fact, males still have (on the whole) greater earning power than women. And depending on what quality of life you want as to whether you will need two working towards that goal or just one. As to iwill being ambiguous, I thought he was a hoot and enjoyed his quips. It depends a lot on you. We are here and get too many contacts from cyber subs, do-me-now subs and hngs. At this point it's hard to be optimistic any more.
