You know, I get that everyone has their opinions and poo poo's the notion that the OP raised. But why do the responses (not all, but many) have to be so damn snotty? I see it over and over again in these forums. Instead of offering an intelligent response, there is sarcasm beyond what is really necessary to get one's point across. And then someone decides to say something "witty" and the thread takes on an entirely different flavour. It's really discouraging.

The responses that you are calling snotty are in some cases 4 years old. This is an old thread that the one before you tried to resurrect. I daresay half the posters if not more are not even here anymore.

Of those posters who first responded (on the first page), all but two have been online this month, so probably are still active members. If you look at history and the modern era, anytime blacklisting of suspected predators is used, it gets blown out of proportion, people get hurt, and lives are possibly ruined. i for one do not want to be involved in that kind of practice.

I think it's great that you try and help new and inexperienced people, but there is a potential problem, which I suppose is unavoidable: what is to prevent a personality clash from resulting in a bad rep for a Dom/me who doesn't in any other way deserve one? candystripper
