Ok, folks. That's enough pitchfork and torch waving.  This is being handled out of the forums.

Actually it's still  breaking TOS according to one mod who told me, the use of code words isn't allowed either.

No, it's not, and I should probably program a macro to dispell this notion every time someone spouts it.

Threads about children, no matter what you call them are what violates the forum rules.  The mere use of the word child or an off-hand referense to children does not.

~ FR ~

As Lucy stated above, a woman can find out if she's "in a family way" in as little as 7 - 8 days after conception.  My friend had a blood test done last week and her period isn't due till this upcoming Thursday.  They were able to tell her that yeppers, she's got a bun in the oven.

As to the other things that have been spouted off in this thread...  wow!  I'm stunned.

Gritting her teeth, but being a good girl...
DRH

ps, OP...  I hope that you find a network of friends and family who will be there for you, no matter what.  Reading some great bdsm books, getting to know other people in the lifestyle who can share insight with you, it's all a great way to start off.  Take care.

Ditto, it had started well before I starting posting here, I assumed it was a necessity, silly me.

AquaticSub -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 1:11:42 PM)

I think for some it's just force of habit from other sites as to why they use it here.

MissHarlet -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 1:17:49 PM)

Sirs..... would you be afraid of taking on a sub who was pregnant? I mean im new to lifestyle.. and unfortuntaly pregnant.. but i still wan to learn and serve

Let me answer from my point of view.

Whether a sub was pregnant or not would have no bearing on my interest in her. What would matter is the person that she is and how well we seemed fitting for each other.

Being pregnant is NOT a handicap. Being pregnant does NOT prevent you from serving or learning or from making friends. However, I would advise avoiding any type of play that, even remotely, *might* have a negative affect on the fetus. Err on the side of safety.

I wish you well and much happiness.

i was just wondering from your profile name if you are actually in the Navy? If you are, are you stationed on a ship? i always wondered what it would be like to go on a submarine.

MissHarlet -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 3:36:45 PM)

OldBastard I agree with all that you said ... except that it DOES make you more emotional ... and that makes it more difficult to really know what you are feeling on a daily basis ..lol sometimes it makes it more difficult to know what you are feeling on an hourly basis......but as for learning and makeing friends ...and even some  " play" as long as there is NO chance of harming the unborn child...that is a choice for the mother and her partner to make. Not everything is impact play nor will it stress mother or child physically

Edited to add the Doctor should also be aware .. hopefully kink friendly and have input into the situation also

MissHarlet -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 3:48:00 PM)

shaking my head ......

takenbyjohnr07 -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 3:48:27 PM)

Why would it be a joke? She has navy in her name. It makes sense.

MissHarlet -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 3:49:25 PM)

it made me wonder if it would incur my wrath too <EG>

MissHarlet -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 3:51:40 PM)

after all that has been said before .... perhaps this is one thread that you should refrain from ....... sometimes retreat is the better form of valor ....I think you are trying to be nice and make up but .. it doesnt come across that way ....Just my opinion !

takenbyjohnr07 -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 3:57:50 PM)

i am being nice, but i'm not trying to make up for anything. The thought just popped up in my head and i think it would be really interesting to know.

If others (not You) want to try to turn it into something it isn't. It won't be the first time, but i can't be responsible for every negative intention that is made.

MissHarlet -> RE: Pregnant and Submissive (2/3/2008 4:03:43 PM)

ok ...taken ... you have to do as you think best ... I will say no more ....but I will continue to shake my head in disbelief
