Well, I for one understand that women scream when flogged and moan when fucked. Does that count any?

Would you say that this implies that screaming and moaning in the absence of flogging and fucking is compensatory, or perhaps a Venutian custom for begging? [:D]

Health,
al-Aswad.

I mean, really, the difference from person to person seems to me to be greater than from a man to a woman.

Bingo. Then again, the same is true of the difference between humans and some species of apes, if memory serves.

Health,
al-Aswad.

Some men understand some women, and vice versa, no one understands everybody. In general i think men understand women more than people think.

yea? How so????

You asked for opinions and you got mine. I like to think i understand how a woman feels. I also dont here every man i meet saying " I dont understand women "  The generalisation that men dont understand women is in my experience untrue.

Whats the point of you asking for an opinion and leaving silly comments like how so ?

I am merely asking for opinions here. when I ask how so, it is because i have seen you make statements and not back them up. I am asking you to be specific in your opinions I didnt call your comments silly. I ask you to back them up with a specific opinion .

An opinion is just that, its what i think, determined by my experiences of life.

Taintedblood -> RE: Do Men understand Women? (2/9/2008 2:13:07 PM)

i don't understand myself half of the time let alone other women.

but i do understand some women same as i understand some men.

i dont understand everyone nor do i expect them to understand me.

so not all men understand women

I am trying to find out what you think you know about women? You said they are not hard to understand. i am trying to get a feel for your deep comprehension and maybe some of your insights.

Politesub53 -> RE: Do Men understand Women? (2/9/2008 4:08:40 PM)

Lusciouslips, i didnt say women are easy to understand, i said i like to think i understand them.

I dont see you asking anyone else the same question, so im guessing you are incapable of droping our disagreement on a previous thread.

RedMagic1 -> RE: Do Men understand Women? (2/9/2008 4:20:00 PM)

Sometimes men do understand women.

They did not make the same statement though. They said no one is easy to understand. You made a statement of saying they are not hard to understand. What does one thread have to do with the other?

I will ask again, If you understand women, tell me what you understand about women. All of you men that understand women, I would like you to define your understanding. Please..

So I will ask you too. if you are one of those men who understands women, can you tell me something that you understand about women?

Men understand that they will never understand women.
Isn't that why Dominant men and women were invented, so they could say, "because I said so! THWACK"

Yes! And thus avoid the godawful spirals that straight couples get into when the man tries to "understand" the woman.

Gordian knot solution.

Seems like you are fishing for generalities.  Such a question could only be answered with a generalization.

Lusciouslips maybe you misread my post. I have never said women were easy to understand. As i said, i think i understand women.

http://www.collarchat.com/m_1609028/mpage_3/tm.htm#

Having said that, some woman are easy to understand, as are some men. Likewise boths sexes can be hard to understand. Even people i know well can be hard to understands on odd occassions. Its impossible to give a specific answer to the question you asked. What i gave you was an opinion based on experiences in life. I know my female relatives inside out, but thats not down to any one instance, its down to having closeness. Its the same with female friends i have.

And i apologise if i have misread your reasons for asking me for specific details.

A woman personally responsible for pages of the "Are Women Bitches?" thread is more interested in socialization through debate than in either teaching or learning.

Health,

I would say that a screaming and moaning woman is begging for some form of attention. What form that attention might take....sounds like another thread topic.

james2Jay -> RE: Do Men understand Women? (2/9/2008 6:13:47 PM)

naw we dont. and dont have to. women just need to understand we dont care to.

greenearth21 -> RE: Do Men understand Women? (2/9/2008 9:30:15 PM)

I think it all depends on the type of woman (their personality traits, etc).  I think men understand me more than women do.  I have also been acussed of having a personality that is similar to that of a man (not clingy etc).  Women tend to be an emotional rollercoaster which...is quite dangerous in my opinion (I have my moments where sometimes I have no idea where i'm going or why I feel the way I do), but I have a very easy going approach to just about anything in life.  Go with the flow; it is what it is, get over it.  So from my experience...I'd have to say some men understand some women.  Goes back to how "complicated" or emotional the woman is.  I don't understand some women; I dont understand some men either...all depends on who you are dealing with
