~fr~ If we look at male/female couples that have been together for 30 years, it is not uncommon for them to finish each other's thoughts and sentences. They not only understand each other, they often know what the other is thinking. Is it because they have been together for so long and have taken the time to get to know one another? Maybe that is why we do not really understand each other, we simply do not take the time to learn. We live in a quick-fix, quick-high, quick-sex sort of society and maybe all it takes is for us to slow down and really get to know one another. My x M used to tell me women are more emotional and therefore react or comment based on emotions; where men are more logical and therefore react or comment based on logic. Not sure how right he was, but i can tell you, he was often times very predictable. He had no idea he was predictable. However, the more time i spent with him, the more i knew him. i can also state with fair certainty that, although he liked to believe that he knew me, he only knew certain aspects of me.
