This is the second such recent thread in which the OP has gotten a variety of suggestions, and mentioned the unsuitablility of almost all of them. Rather than wait for the ideal (non-boring, easy, compact, cheap. quick, and so forth) answer off the internet, I would second the recommendation above, go get some assistance in real time, be it a Doctor, a nearby school that is doing a controlled study, a church or community center support group, somebody teaching seated qigong...do something, even if it is rearranging the furniture a few minutes a day. Waiting to prepare to get ready to start looking into commencing to lose weight is a bad plan.
