"The cancerous growth Israel will soon disappear," Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps commander Muhammad Ali Jafari wrote to Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, the FARS news agency reported Monday.

Well considering the massive lobbying power that Israel has in Congress, I imagine a lot. Iran is not going to do that, and they would be stupid to try. Israel can take care of itself, and has done so rather well for the past 60 years. Iranians say things like that all the time.

The one thing keeping Iran from pulling the trigger is the United States. If we pull out of the mid-east and pull the military threat off the table, there is nothing stopping Iran (and Syria) from starting a war with Israel. And if that happens, it will be a very bloody war.

Doesnt the bible predict this will happen eventually? Its supposed to signal the start of the end of days.

we will go to war, again, and with most of the middle east. we have to protect out interests over there, and our allies. israel is one of our only real allies. its weak point is iran can literally blow it off the map, but despite its small size, it has one of the largest and most skilled/powerful airforces in the world. you can also expect ww3 in full swing, being as china and russia both have huge interests in the middle east, not to mention NK will take advantage of it.

We are spread thin right now as it is, so you can bet all reserves will be active duty by the end of the DAY if it ever happens, and then expect the anti war people to hate. to bad they dont realize we need the rest of the world to survive, and we may poke our noses in other peoples shit to much, but in the end we are helping ourselves more then anything else.

the term armegeddon is actually a place, infact, the place of the final battle. so yeah, it "predicts" it. btw armegeddon is south east of isreal, i think in saudi arabia, but not to far.

The reason that most Arab countries have not pulled the trigger on Israel is that they have no trigger.

Iran does lip service like we do here, they say mighty words to gain or keep popular support. If you look at the body of real information, let's say beginning at the sinking of the USS Liberty in 1967 until today you see why.

It is not going to stop, literally unless Jesus comes, this time with real power. If I were he I would kill every politician in Israel as well as the US. The only one left would be Ron Paul. You think I am kidding ?

The Zionists and the Neocons are our enemy, that will never change. And you can't get rid of them. So what do we do ?

I have ideas, ask. But if you do not ask, I would prefer not to hijack the thread. Things had better start happening soon or they never will. History will repeat itself, resulting in a real holocaust this time. Want that ?

Just keep fucking around and all of this is going to happen according to the plan. And so far it is. See how bad things are, that is because they are TAKING, taking just about everything from us.

The best thing for the US to do right now is let somebody blow up Israel, default on all the loans, become an isolationist state and learn to make the things we need ourselves once again.

Imagine Al Quaeda recruitment in the USA, could happen, probably does. Wait until it becomes noticable. It will.

All over the world anti American sentiment is growing, and I am here to tell you that it is growing here as well. We are not happy, nor are we healthy. They are killing us slowly, but they are killing Arabs more quickly. The Arabs do not like it, go figure.

You know its funny, Democrats have been in office only 12 years of the 27, but all the progress on Israel-Arab peace has come in those 12 years.

Iran won'tr bomb Israel for the same reason we never bombed Moscow, MAD.

Although you have to give cyberdude credit, faced with almost certain defeat in November rather than trying to wedge off some fringe elements of the Democratic voting block he tries to go after one of the core groups. Despite the blatant anti semitism of the RR and their support of Israel in an attempt to bring about the end of the world he still thinks he can make some headway into bringing jews into the GOP. I'd admire his hope if it wasn't for the defaming tactics he's using.

Get real. Israel is a nuclear power with a military force on par with Britain, France and Germany, (with compliments of the USA, all free of charge or on easy terms.)

The pronblem with rightwing Americans, not being the brightest on the planet, they confuse rhetoric caused through frustration with intent. If Iran had the where for all and the intent to destroy Israel they wouldn't advertise the fact but do it. This is just for the mindless consumption of fundementalist muslims, you know, like the shit rightwing American politicians spout for fundementalist Christians in America, both of which, appear to be on the same planet, which isn't this one.

We're not spread that thin if you consider that we have *Nuclear Submarines* around the world capable of hitting any target within 20 minutes.
And , Israel is more than capable of defending itself.

A couple of details to consider....

1 - The Isrealis have 3 state of the art fuel cell powered submarines (e.g. very hard to detect boats). These are German made Dolphins that were custom fit with 2 large torpedo tubes capable of firing cruise missiles. Their standard rotation is to have 2 at sea at all times. hmmm.........I wonder if they might have a few nukes sitting on those boats.

2 - The Iranians are stupid enough to try an attack on Israel, but I'm guessing it will be attack by proxy using Hezbolla or another terrorist organization. Probably supplying them with nuclear, chemical, and/or biologicals in addition to advanced anti-tank missiles such as the Russian made Kornet. It won't be a simple up front assault. (The Iranians are dumb, but they're not THAT dumb.)

How did Israel, ever, in the eyes of any responsible thinking adult, get away with everything they have over the years and still portray themselves to the United States as if they were "a victim". It (rightly, in my view) receives condemnation from practically every civilised society on Earth. Yet the U.S. Government casually hands it $6 million dollars of American taxpayers money.

Every single day.

And look what that money buys. More US hatred and threats of terrorism.

Oh and please spare me all these replies from Israel supporters (especially the "you anti-semitic Nazi!!!!!!!" ones, many Jews are opposed to Israel too, remember?), the world is sick of hearing how needy that state is.

I suggest you educate yourselves about Israel before you keep promoting it blindly.
