I currently have short hair, and it seam to me this is not that common aboute submissives. Why is it that males, and Dominats in paticular favor long hair on girls, can it be that short hair is more masquline, and somhow indicate on some deep level a want for control, while long loks indicate a sort of incoence?

Well, I like it either way. Short, besides whatever fashion statement it makes, makes gagging, hooding, head-harnessing and so on easier and neater. On the other hand, long hair is built-in bondage equipment right there... nothing like a nice thick braid to anchor a hog-tie to. Inbetween, though, is the worst of both worlds.

I'm not sure of anyone else, but Master wants my hair long so he can grab it and pull on it. Its easier to grab if its longer, and can be wrapped around his hand that way.
I think most guys like it longer, even in vanilla, because it looks more feminine. Thats just my opinion.

BDSM tends to overexaggerate feminine characteristics- extremely high heels, extremely tight corsets, extreme lack of body hair below the neck and extreme length of body hair above the neck.

It's something of a form of control, something of an easy way to be feminine and a general turn on.

But, as with anything, it's just a preference, everyone is different.

i to hate the in between, that is why i am relucatant to save up my hair, i hate the inbetween time.

I agree with perfection20005,most Master's want long hair so they/we can grab it and pull on it!!!!
Long hair on head,no hair everywhere else,if you know what I mean!!

Hehe well long hair is also a pain to grome, perhaps that is why the Doms like it so mutch.

When i was little my mom kept my hair cut short for practicality so it is what i was accustomed to. My freshmen year in high school i started growing it out and by the time i was 18 it was down to the lower part of my back, long, beautiful, thick, and natural spiraled. As good as it looked was as awful as it was to have. It was always in the way, i couldn't sleep well at night, and even when i put it up it always seemed to come back down. At 18 i chopped it off to boy short. Everyone always commented on my hair, how beautiful it was, but suddenly with it short everyone could see me! i got more compliments on my looks after that. i grew it out twice since then, just below shoulder length, twice since then, one time being for my wedding and the other after my divorce but both times i chopped it as soon as i was reminded how much it negatively affected my life, mostly with lack of sleep. My hair is now back to short and sassy and i love it! i can wear it right out of the shower with nothing done to it, or i can put some flirty curls in it, or i can put some flips into it. *sigh* i love my hair short.

a Pain to groom ....... wow, no chit! add some natural curl effected by humidty with a grabbing hand and it's instant knots. extra conditioners, brush it in the shower, braid it, eventually it's managable.

my hair is werry think, and collored black, belive me it is a trye pain to grome. Just like whit greenie i have had long, luxerious hair, and it look grate, but i ahve problems sleeping at night and somtimes i just dont have the time for 20 minutes in the morning just to brush the knots from my hair.

I hadn't thought of it that way. Good point.

Master likes my hair longer than I would like it. It's now down to the middle of my back. Takes 45 minutes with a blow dryer to get it completely dry. It's a pain, but it makes him happy.

As for pulling, sure it do makes for better pulling if it is longer, but it dont need to be that long. When i was a little girl there was this boy a year or two younger than me that used to hassel me all the time at school, now i dont run werry fast and never cougth him, and he thinked it was werry fun, the problem is, i do carry a grudge, so one day i did see him standing there, knowing prace and no danger. This was a tiny boy as eight or nine year olds often are, and i was big even then, and stong and this boy had all of this messy red hair, i rmember honing into it like a target becon and grabbing it and lifting the whole little boy of his feet holding him by the hair. The next day at school he arived whit an army cut, and i got hasseld alot less by him after that. And they say figting back never resolves anything.

Hi i'm in the middle of growing my hair out. Last year i fried my hair by repeated bleahing and coloring it's now back to normal and in febuary they had to cut the dead stuff and it was really short then but now it is shoulder length with layers with layer. I have super thich hair too that is why i have layers in it to give it shape. As for my Master's opinion he likes it shoulder length but we are aiming for it to get to my shoulderblades i cant wait my hair takes so long to grow

. Anyone know of what to do to make hair grow faster?

Well i know there are some vitamins and nutrisient pills you can take, but i dont realy know alot aboute it, some herb washes will help, masaging the head regulary might halp i am not sure, sleeping whit an orange stone like carneol under your pillow might help, but might make you sleepless to. Ofcourse, if you are into that, you can always try a spell to make i grow faster.

In general I don't like really short hair. I like it to be at shoulder legenth. If you have a really attractive face short hair can be very attractive though

My biggest problem is that i have werry big oggely sticking out of my skull like a prize winning gold fish eyes, but i am not realy sure what sort of hair would help the most on that.
