Thank you :) I'm glad I was able to be clear.

I think my sensitivity comes from getting a lot of crap because I knew early who I was as a sexual being. It's not fun--the crap, not the knowledge.

And yeah, I find that I tend to come accross "submissiver-than-thou" in print, beacuse there are very strict ideals I strive to live by. I most definatly don't blindly follow where my partner leads, but we've come to know one another very well.

I tend to judge relationships by mine--that is, because I have a partner who understands me implicitly, and whom I understand and trust implicitly, I assume others do. Kinda like I assume that everyone on the net is telling the truth, because I do. (needless to say I still protect myself when meeting someone. They just get the benifit of the doubt)

Regardles, it gets one into trouble to figure that other's relationships are healthy because you're lucky enough to be in a healthy one.

Heh. Think we've hashed this enough? We disagree. I'm content with that.

See, I don't think we do necessarily disagree.

It is great that you have a wonderful relationship. But it is a mistake to always judge other relationships by yours. Imagine if your relationship was not so great? Would you then advice everyone that their master was a dog who was better off being put down?

And just remember, everyone changes over time. I am different than I was at your age, and I will be different than I am now when I am 60. So will you, and so will your partner. Hopefully, the two of you will grow together, accepting and enjoying the growth.
