OK ladies repeat after me there is no closure..it is a fallacy. What there is instead is a Finish to the matter that you yourself put on it. No one, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, Dom or whatever is going to give you closure or make sense of what happened for you. They have moved on..you can too. every last person on earth has lost someone who meant something to them, through death, life, whatever and no one comes back to give them closure. They make it for themselves, when they fold away the last of their clothing, when they write that last letter to them, when they close the grave, when they accept a date with someone else.
Find a T-shirt of theirs, or something they gave you that you don't mind losing...Hold a funeral for the relationship and let that object stand in their place, bury it, burn it, set it adrift at sea or give it away and along with it the lost feeling you are holding onto. Embrace the anger, the loss and the grief and allow yourself to grieve, then look at yourself in the mirror and celebrate the person you are that THEY are now missing out on. You are much more than the relationship you are no longer in..you are vibrant, intelligent, capable, and will be for the rest of your life. No ifs, No Ands, No Buts, with or without another person in your life, you are whole and complete.
The only closure we have is the one we grant ourselves...Go ahead..make one for yourself..Today
