I hate that acknowledging terrible things have happened to me in my life makes me feel weak and stupid. "I hate that I don't believe I need the same kind of "slack" that I offer to others who are going through a tough time. I hate that I feel the need to minimize bad things so people won't feel sorry for me because I feel like there are so many people who are worse off than me. I hate that I have wondered all my life why I feel this way, and just this week, may have uncovered some reasons why and I hate them because I feel guilty for attributing some of these feelings to the person I do. I also hate that everyone tells me I say "I'm sorry" too much and I know it's true. I apologize for everything, even shit that has nothing to do with me. I hate that this post makes me seem like a whiney, pitiful worm, and not the strong woman I always want to be and be seen as. " Would you feel they are a whiny worm? Would you tell them to keep their problems to themselves as your own are so much worse than theirs? Would you look at your friend who is struggling and think ... "you know what, I always thought she was such a strong woman and now I realise she is just a jelly fish, any bit of respect I had for her has flown out the window? " smiles...from the little I know of you on here I am sure you wouldn't say any of that and the people who love you wouldn't say nor think any of the thoughts you are having. A neat tip I learnt a few years ago....I can have the crappy though/feeling/sensation (eg. I am a pitiful, whiny worm, I feel so guilty) AND I can continue living my life in a way that is meaningful to me. Red, you are not your thoughts sweetie.

DAMMIT I hate it when I burn all my photos to a DVD, check the DVD and know it works and then delete the photos just to find out the DVD wont read again now! IT WORKED the first time though! I am sooooo pissed... its 1100 images i cant figure out how to get access to

I know that you are right, and I hope that one day I can give myself a break, if only to model something better for the Things. I used to have people close to me say things like, "[Red], how could you have gotten into that situation? Smart girls don't get into messes like that." Or, "I thought you had more sense than that - what were you thinking?" Or even, "[Red], that could never have happened like you said. Are you sure you're not just in denial or remembering things wrong?" Over and over again, things that I have experienced have been negated, my feelings modified to be a little more acceptable to other people, and I've been the first one in line to make sure that happens. Never disappoint anyone... don't let them down. If I did, I was flamed for it, and at times, still am, most of all by me. It's a little "Stockholm-ish," I know, and one day, I hope I can get over that. warm hugs to all of you who have stood by me when I'm on or off my game

Red, i'm sure i've probably said this 80 thousand times to You already...However, i know exactly what you mean...After the rape by the JAMF (who according to his whore's profile they appear to have found a new victim) the cop who interviewed (read INTERROGATED THE FUCK OUTTA ME!!!) kept saying things like, "Seriously...You do that for a living and you allowed that to happen to you?" Or other helpful things such as "Come on!! You have a freaking Master's degree... Tell me someone like you did not allow something like this to happen to you." or my very favorite, "i just would have thought that a person like you would have known better." Kali (who's suddenly feeling enough fucking rage to fill a small country now)
