Status: offline 		I'm 5 hrs north of Toronto and they predict the overnight low is -30 and for tomorrow going down to -35. Torontonians are wussies, they whine when they get a snowfall of 3"  LOL. Have they rebuilt the Cheesecake Cafe by the west Ed. mall?  Gawd I loved that place when I lived in Spruce Grove! Used to go there once a month for coffee and homemade cheesecake.

Status: offline 		We are about 5 hours north of Edmonton, so I haven't been to West Ed in months.  Next time we make a trip to the city and head to West Ed I will keep an eye out for it.  I wouldn't want to be in the city right now.  They will be hovering right around 0 towards the end of the week and then freezing again.  Not good for the roads.

Bundle up and stay warm.

it's dropped 14 degrees celcius since yesterday. where previously 30 degrees (current approximate temp) would make me melt and threaten death, i'm thinking it's actually coolish outside today!

Status: offline 		I hate hearing all the road closures and the crowd control efforts that are being discussed for next week in the DC metro area.  Good grief!  I am staying far, far away.  I shall watch from the safety of my tv.

Status: offline 		I hate that in a couple of weeks, Tampa is going to be drowning in superbowl stuff.  The route I have to take to and from work goes RIGHT NEXT TO THE FRIGGIN STADIUM!!  *grumbles*.
I hate that I was told by the boss tonight that we're not honoring the Gov't rate during the 4 days of superbowl (29th-2nd). I hate that this may bite him in the ass afterwards, since the majority of our guests ARE Govt people.
I hate that the boss doesnt seem to understand that it would be better to leave at least 10 rooms available at the govt rate so that we dont totally alienate those who are our bread and butter!

Red I am right with ya..temp drops below 60 and I look like I am ready for the next Ice Age..TG BlackPhx puts out heat like a furnace and doesn't mind cold feet in warm places.

Sure!

What makes it worse is the RATE he wants to charge (c/c charged at time of reservation, no cancellations).  We have NOTHING to justify the rate.  No restaurant, no shuttle.  Only 2-3 restaurants within walking distance. No bars close by.  No touristy stuff nearby. Tiny pool. Hell, we dont even have the same amount of parking spaces as we do rooms!! And lets not forget about the road widening construction going on out front.

sheesh.

Sometimes, he's such a fucking idiot.
