i love it when it clicks in my head again that i have a home espresso maker/steamer sitting on my counter...which means free iced americanos for me, since my mom buys all of espresso (for whatever reason she seems to think i go through it like i put it on my cereal or something, she sends me a can about once a month).

Dhr...oh man oh man...can our boys scare the crap outta of us (girls too just didn't have any girls myself.)..had a few episodes like the one you described....the worst being my youngest son and my nephew getting jumped and beaten badly by a gang...makes me want to take a xanax 1 mg. even just thinking about that day and the weeks that followed.

I found a fantastic landscaper, he dropped a job to work here for 2 days so that the house would at least be presentable. He was the only one that showed up on time so I hired him lol, I didn't know what a nice guy he would turn out to be!

He had me run out and get some flowers just so he could add color, not just mulch everywhere. Somehow he even managed to deal with my overbearing seriously alpha father being here. [:D]

Even though he can't return until next Monday he somehow managed to make the jungle look like something someone might want to buy.

I love it when I am pleasantly suprised by the customer service level of a support phone line I have to call to get my Xbox fixed.

I love it when Thing 2 and I have a nice afternoon together, strolling around the stores, after she has done a great job of cleaning up stuff before we left home.  So, I reward her (without her asking me) with a game that she has wanted but never nags me about.  It's nice to do for people when they don't expect it.  [:)]
