You got it girl. It's a takeoff of a dress I made about 20 years ago for a formal dinner. For that one, I took the bodice of a wedding dress pattern (corset-like), the sleeves of another (off the shoulder, long sleeve lace), and then I designed the skirt on my own (which was 3 graduated layers of hankerchief hem, the bottom layer charmeuse and the top two layers chiffon), all in black and black lace, with some black beadwork around the bustline and the wrists. If it still fit, I would wear that, but that was in my very skinny days. This time I've ordered a black corset, I'm making the skirt separate (but still multi-layer in charmeuse and chiffon, hankerchief hem), and I'm basically making a short chemise out of two layers of chiffon to go under the corset.
