I love it when I get the most touching "rejection" letter from the Director of the school I interviewed with. It started out as my Massage school but it was bought out and went corporate so its not the same school. But the director was a teacher for years and did remember me. I met her for an interview even though there was nothing available at present time. She said there "might be a part time opening in january. The letter said "Thank you for making yourself available to interview for a position as a possible part time Instructor at __________. I appreciated the time you spent sharing with me sharing your passion, your experiences, and your qualifications to determine if we were a good match for one another. In your years of service since graduation you have been a gift to the profession of massage as well as to the people you have come in contact with helping to raise the consciousness of the body, mind and spirit through massage. Unfortunately at this time, there are no positions available as an Instructor with us. I will keep your resume on hand in a case a position becomes available in te future. I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors." I have never felt so good from a rejection before! Ok not a rejection but a thank you for my time.
