There is a Problem going on at Yahoo. If U haven't seen they are going to Kill the ADULT profile, Which is a means of Sceening the Members tring to join the BDSM Group's, to name one type of adult group. I have heard that they are going to Kill all the Adult Groups with the new alliance with google. Most groups Use this as a means to notify Members of Munchs, Partys, and Events in the life style. I would think that someplaces Like this site might enjoy the extra traffic if they could get the message Boards to move to a Kink friendly site. But if U know of someplace else that is free let me know! M-MIke

i think what he is saying is that since Yahoo is going to get rid of all of the adult groups that if anyone knows of another place that is similar to Yahoo, meaning with group possibilities and mailing lists etc that they may stand to gain some traffic if this happens.....Seems like he also wants to know if anyone knows of anything like it. And although the forums here are great and free they aren't groups like yahoo and they don't have that capability to be that. MySpace does have groups, but they usually seem to be mostly lame, and you have to have a MySpace account (which some ppl think is juvenille so they don't have them)....They aren't the perfect solution, and you can't post xxx pics or adult links in them, but they are one option.

Actually, it's not just the groups, but Adult Profiles that are impacted as well. I received the email below from Yahoo this morning (I removed my ID information as it's not relevant): We're making some changes that will affect one of your Yahoo! profiles. After April 9, 2008, mature content will not be permitted within Yahoo! Profiles. In accordance with this new policy, users will no longer be able to designate an "adult profile," and mature content will be removed. The profile for the Yahoo! ID XXXXXXXXX is marked "adult." The picture associated with this profile will be removed and deleted on April 9, 2008. We encourage you to upload a new profile photo on that date that complies with the Yahoo! i received an email from yahoo last night saying they were going to delete my picture from my profile because i'd marked it as an adult profile. they're getting rid of the adult profile section, and arbitrarily removing all pics in those profiles. more censorship, gotta love it, NOT! here's the email i got last night on one of my accounts, as far as i know, all the accounts in our family that were under adult designation were notified.
