Raechard -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/5/2008 1:07:09 PM)

Yes very true if you don’t ask you don’t get they say, although no one has ever asked to be run over by a bus as far as I can tell.

There I've proven my humorousness, someone vote for me as most humorous damnit.

How would be know [:D]? They'd be feeding the daisies.

I was told once by a very wise person if you don’t understand someone just say….

"Indeed."

Tarmac a very inhospitable environment for daisies.

kittinSol -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/5/2008 1:19:59 PM)

If their corpse was transported away from the tarmac after the double-decker hit them they'd likely be somewhere where earth covers them, unless cremated, and then they'd be feeding the daisies, thus being unable to tell us that they had indeed wished for the bus to hit them in the first place.

*out of breath*

Raechard -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/5/2008 1:23:39 PM)

Ah I do follow your logic but you forget one key element....

The suicide note and they fact they may have wanted their ashes spread in a quarry that sources the aggregate for the tarmac.[8|]

kittinSol -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/5/2008 1:26:37 PM)

Come on! If you wanted to die by bus, you wouldn't advertise it in a suicide note. Or would you ;-p?You'd cover it up by writing "Off I go to jump off such and such bridge" and then pretended you got hit by the n.12 by accident. No?

Raechard -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/5/2008 1:33:33 PM)

You could be right I suppose unless it was a cry for help and you didn't expect the bus to hit you because buses are mythical creatures at the best of times.

*slaps KS for hijacking cos she keeps doing it and I wanted an excuse to slap her*

I agree its a popularity thingy but I dont care cos there is nowt wrong with boosting peoples egos, I beamed when i read that two people have mentioend me, and I also wanted to add the.dark, I havent ready many of Darcys posts (though I hear he is a charming fellow) all the way to work this morning i felt bad for not having her in my initial post. There are other people on here I admire for other things, I admire a heck of a lot of ya whehter its for your calm, honesty, humor, compassion whatever, I guess thats why i spend so much time on here (nowt to do with being a loser and not having a social life)

Massive mega blush. I do?

[sm=threadhijack.gif]

PS: I agree with you colouredin that threads like this are pretty harmless - there's nothing wrong with people acknowledging what they like about one another. I'm only too sad I can't enumerate all of the people whose intellect I have admired on these boards - but they're too numerous. To me, it proves that a lot of quality people haunt these waters (a little like sharks feasting on surfers off the coast of New South Wales) - and I'm hugely chuffed that other people appreciate me for my mind as well as for my boo... forget it [8D] .

-fast complaint-

Sure, forget the Gorean, we're always remembered for our devilishly handsome exterior and our sex appeal, but never for our intellect. Norman writes the books and we're burdoned with his shortcomings.[sm=dunno.gif]

FINE.............................I don't like any of you fuckers either............ [sm=sodoff.gif]

(don't you just love these new emotes) (more, more, more)

Actually, you were mentioned in post #45 and Aswad has been mentioned several times. Personally, seeing you a just a hunk of man meat works for me, but you know, I suppose intellect is good as well.

-winks-

I was just bein' playful girlie. I hope I didn't appear too vain. But I should bestow my thanks to vixen for the love.

I myself like lotsa of you folks for your interior depth. It's the reason I frequent Collarme.

I’m even partial to many of the ones that piss me off.

I'd have to say the one that gets my biggest nod is Ron when he's sober, when he's artificially happy I have no fuckin' idea what he's talkin' about.

Though he's not a crowd favorite and I doubt he cares; I have learned a lot from Leonidas. He to a Gorean like me is rather astute.

Merc sure does make me think, that must be a good thing.

I will say all things being equal Aswad is one amazing SOB.... he must be the best read dude here.

And does LA ever get it wrong?

And while I can't stand Caitlyn as a human, she is a brilliant little bitch.

Kitten is my bud so I have to abstain at the risk of making that head of hers any larger.

And I have a personal affection for Tee. She’s an Iowa girl.

Two very sharp little slave type wenches are Celeste and Ally.

Finally I better choose my favorite free women (non submissive types) to read or talk too. Ygraine and Naja, both are tops in my book.

Well, the destination is nowhere and the journey provides good exercise so... yeah, I think it fits.

KCherry -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/5/2008 7:32:02 PM)

I haven't been here long enough to throughly form opinions, too much work. But so far most of you rock! Go you!

But...what of the hamsters with actual aspirations...?! [8D]

No wonder the rodents never took over.

StormsSlave -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/6/2008 12:11:11 AM)

I like this thread!  So much fun.

I love MistressofGa so much.  She always finds the right tone and makes so much sense!
Ladypact: Rock on with the honesty.  I don't always agree with what you say, but I can always tell you're telling the truth. (And you are sexy as hell!)
Ron: He's twisted, but somehow right at the same time!
Ownedgirlie: Well, usually one of us says the same exact thing the other one said.  I read somewhere that a person's intellect can be measured by how much they agree with you.  [sm=oddballs.gif]
Sailingbum:Just cause he's such a bastard and never apologizes for it.  Besides, most of the time he's right.  (And he makes me laugh my ass off.)
Aileen: Cause she always injects the humor.
LuckyAlbatross: Again, I don't always agree, but I always respect that her opinion is her own  and she doesn't care about winning any of these silly popularity contests.
Jefff: Honest and sensitive, .
Justme696: The voice of reason among us opinionated folk.  I love to read your posts and often click just to read them, and that profile pic is just plain yummy

There are tons of others, but it would take me forever to look them up.  It would be easier to do a who don't I like answer, since there are so few, but that's against the rules.

Cheers.

Mellissande -> RE: Who on CM d'ya most admire intellectually? (4/6/2008 12:16:11 AM)
