Bob, you are very welcome.. just be careful if you get the band around the testicles, and a tag.. that the tag is NOT sharp and is very rounded so you don't have any problems... Even a leather tag would work.. and that would not cut into you.

Hi Lethrsubby. Would the band be leather or metal? I guess they have all kinds of bands for that, or do you just use something else for that purpose?

when kali was owned, her Master made a lovely leather collar for her. It was the 'mystic' braid and was so feminine that she could wear it anywhere and noone but those in the life would even have a clue as to what it was all about... for male subs, she would think that a leather bracelet fine, but not feminine would be just as appropriate.

I have a stainless steel Eternity collar that I'm comfortable wearing out. Most people just think it's a piece of Gen X jewelry.

The company I work for has strict policies regarding what is aceptable in appearance. We are not allowed facial piercings, colored hair or visable tattoos. So, wearing a collar would get me warned and possibl fired.

My slave has always worn a collar its stainless steel but is very ornate engraved and with jewells inset its about 1inch by half an inch thick and has been welded closed so is perminant. She is very proud to be a slave and is happy to display the fact so much so she offered to wear shackles as these would be very much visable making her enslavement very obvious. I managed to get the same expert who made her collar to make stainless steel bangles to match her collar again about the same width and thickness these are joined by a 16inch titanium chain and were closed and welded like her collar. She is so proud of her perminant display of enslavement and the effect is quite stunning she does get lots of attension when she goes out.

Bob if you look closely , in most of my pictures i wear a leather one, it is high end though, and is braided with fresh water pearls.

I weld on different collar, wrist, snklet, or "D" all the above, highly polished and attractively done they are simply gave up trying to have the female attorney "remove" her "necklace and anklet" set. If permanent is the requirement then stainless steel is the least expensive and easiest to work and maintain. Ballet Bob.. the band around the testicles should be something that can't be removed.. like a leather band with tiny plastic padlock or it could be custom made from a handcuff or metal.. in any case it would have to be locked on, I would think. For those who do not wish to lock it on.. a simple strap that buckles would do.

When I had a pet, he wore a leather collar around at the home and where he was allowed to do so, but if not... he wore a set of tags that stated he was mine.

I love leather collars, but unfortunately I swear a whole lot due to some of the medications I am on so it would be very impractical for me to wear a leather collar 24/7 so Master bought me and eternity collar. It is really nice and comfortable and it looks great. However, I wouldn't suggest buying from eternitycollars.com because our experience with them was horrible.

As people have already pointed out, sometimes visible collars are simply not practical.

I've known people to use tattoos, rings, necklaces, bracelets, piercing jewelry, and even brands as a way of providing a mark of ownership when collars are not appropriate. I know one submissive who even carries a card in her purse stating that she is owned and has her Masters phone number on it to call in case of an emergency.

I have to say, the testicle collar is a new one to me. I don't think I've ever heard of that before. Sounds like that could be painful on a cold day, LOL.

I'll wager it's a lot of fun to have your boy clean the snow and ice off your car in cotton jammies wearing one of those...

I haven't got my collar yet. I will when we are together in real life, but I have drove my Daddy crazy sending him a ton of links to different ones and going back and forth on what I would be willing to wear in public. I'm fairly private and know I wouldn't be comfortable with something that was obviously a collar. Now in private I don't care and he has designed me a training collar out of an old favorite belt of his that I am very excited to have on. But in public I need to be more subtle then that. I liked the braided leather ones very much but we both wondered how they would hold up with wearing it all the time. If anyone has info on that I would appreciate it.

After my Sir and I have been together a year we will design a permanent collar for me and a ring of him. We will then have a collaring ceremony and make it all happily forever.

Hi Little. That is a real CUTE one..I loke that. I now wear Silver shain with Silver Pointe SHoes, but it doesn't signafy anything, except that I LOVE BALLET....LOL
