Another translation:  once more, she jumped to avoid a spider and in windmilling her arms and legs to help with the landing, the windgust she created carried the new PC right off the desk to crash upon the floor.  And...what are the odds?...she then landed on top of it, breaking it further.  But t'wasn't her fault...t'was the spider's.

Status: offline 		Hey all.....how is everyone tonight?  I'm still stuck on Arizona time, so my sleeping pattern is really a mess now!

Good news on the job front......looks like I'm going to be working for the highway patrol in Jacksonville.....I went there for the interview w/the background investigator, and mentioned that I had interviewed with Orlando, and had one pending tomorrow in Tampa.  The duty officer I interviewed with mentioned that to the Captain, and when I came back from my drug test, he pretty much asked me where I wanted to work, since the process is the same for all the districts....I told him "Well, I'm here, and it'd be great if I got the job here!"...he told me he'd call Tampa and let them know that I won't be coming to their interview!  So, once the results from the drug test and fingerprint check come in, I'll be getting a start date, I hope.  Of course, I won't get my hopes up until I get that little piece of paper!  But since the CPT called Tampa to tell them I wouldn't be there tomorrow, I would hope that it's their intention to offer me the job...otherwise, I'll be really PISSED!  I still can't believe that they called me...this was the interview that I thought I totally BOMBED....I even got the "thanks you for applying, we'll keep you in mind" letter....but see, people kept dropping out because they didn't want to wait for the process to be completed.....they got to me on the list.....patience pays off here.....it usually takes no less than 90 days to get thru the hiring process, most folks know this, but apparently, not everyone wanted to wait.  WOOOOO-HOOOOOO!

Status: offline 		Thanks fluffy.....I was really hoping that it would work out this way.  Only one move, my back is still killing me from this move! 

The kittehs actually traveled very well.....they only really bitched and moaned the first day, and not at all when I took them out of the carriers.  They didn't even pout!
