Smooches for Holly!

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 5:58:02 AM)

Good Morning, Holly!

This morning is sunny but quite cool at 35F.  It finally warmed up yesterday after the same kind of start, so i expect it will be in the 60's this afternoon, too.

Master Rich arrives tomorrow afternoon.  The next chemo is Tuesday.  In the meantime i need to clean up the apartment to get ready for His arrival.

i hope you and your have a nice day.

sunshinemiss -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 6:03:42 AM)

Woo hoo!  Fluffy, It's great how your dude is so supportive of you.  Give him a big ole hug for me, will you?

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 6:04:06 AM)

Morning girls!

I slept 18 hours out of the last 24....apparently it is not a good idea to travel 10 hours then go back to work the next day....who knew!

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 6:09:24 AM)

Good Morning, Zeph!  Sleep is good for you.

Good Morning, lushy!  i need to find someone to give me a massage.

Good Evening, sunshine!  i think there will be a lot of hugging and "not napping" going on when He gets here.

Yes it most certainly is! I'm glad to hear that Master Richard is coming to stay with you; I worry about you being on your own. Yes I know you are capable of caring for yourself but still.....

sunshinemiss -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 6:12:53 AM)

Not napping is good.  Wonder where I can get me some of that... hmmmmmm..

All right people, I'm going to bed!!!

Good night and have a great day!

i'm glad He will be here, too.  After the last chemo, my blood pressure was doing some strange things and they told me to stop my BP meds.  At least Master is a former EMT+ and knows where the nearest ER is.  With one of my drugs being cardiotoxic, His being here gives me some peace of mind.

He tells me that the best way i can serve Him now is to get well, so some of the pressure is off.  He did manage to find several ways for me to "serve" Him in the traditional sense of the term.

Go get one a week AFTER chemo.

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 6:53:36 AM)

lushy, do i have to have the massage therapist do anything special because i had lymph nodes removed?  As it is i am not allowed to have blood pressure, IVs, or blood draws from my left arm.  And i have implants behind my chest muscles.  Do they have training in how to handle all that?

DesFIP -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 10:01:30 AM)

Fluffy, eat all your favorite foods now before the next chemo screws up your taste buds again.

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (4/11/2010 10:06:19 AM)

Celeste - that's what i have been doing this weekend.  Went and had Chinese last night with leftovers today.

Do you know that the Young Chows Special Chicken has a whole pound of cooked chicken breast pieces?  i always eat only half of what they serve and take the other half home.  When i got home last night i weighed out the chicken and it was 8 ounces.  WOW! lots of protein! (and salt and fat, too.)

A light swedish massage from someone with experience. It doesnt have to be a lymphatic massage. Just light and soothing. It will benefit your circulation and lymph flow anyway.

Thanks, lushy.  Now i know what to ask for.

Morning all. Time to take the dog back to the vet. He's been limping again. I'm suspecting maybe some arthritis as it comes and goes. Can't be Lyme's because he's on Advantick and has had his vaccine.

Did you ever try rescue remedy?

Now...if it is arthritis as you assume then it won't help I guess, but just saying as it did help with my cat when he was once limping after a fight.

He never ever hissed at me except on that day and when I did let him down I realised that he avoided as much as possible to put weight on his front paw...I was about to go to the vet where a friend told me that she sometimes uses rescue remedy in such situations and it worked wonders...ok I needed 3 attempts to get that onto his paw as he did not fancy a wet paw but once I got that done he felt better in no time and no vet was needed...just as a general tip when limping might not be a result out of arthritis.

Apart from that,

good afternoon to everyone *yaaaaaaawn*, I am almost finished with my report at last as yesterday night finally the penny dropped how to implement the damn change management technique...I so wish that would have happened weeks ago already...

Now I clean it up a lil bit and then its time to give my final result to my ex in 2-3 hours to fix it...and then the rest of the day will be mine...to tidy up and to fix the referencing on that report [>:]

However, IF I would fail that one then it really wouldnt matter much to me as I have now finally much more an idea what to write about and how to implement it and would be fine to fix any critiques from lecturers...so I finally found my peace with my report [:)]

And then all is left to do is my Dissertation [:)] and my portfolio [>:]
