I know there is a temple just outside of Austin and there is a few good Oriental stores down there.  I am leaving in the morning for Austin.  I can ask one of the neighbors where the fabric stores that carries sari cloth are at.

still tuckered out and I got to get packing.  I am debating which project to take with me on this trip.  Mom wants me to find her some latch hook projects (I tried to get her interested in counted cross stitch)..  Got to get the MP3 player charged up.  I went ahead and got tunic patterns on Ebay.  Damn it...I should've not eaten that chili cheese dog...

I need a slave to get this shit done.

Guess who went to a wave pool yesterday and did not use enough sunscreen? The only part that is reallyreally red is my nose (i could light the way for Santa's sleigh) but all other parts have freckled. I look like Opie from Mayberry.

hi folks,

finally handed in my essay today....thank goodness....now i just pray to pass this fucking thing. have seen an essay from someone else which increased my furiousness that he passed and on top of it on such a high mark, as he only repeated in his conclusion what he had written in his introduction already (a la in introduction he said i am going to do this and this and that and then in the conclusion he just repeated it with saying i did this and this and that...wtf???) he had several errors in his referencing but of course his was not torn apart like mine....gosh am I furious about it as that just confirms my view that she did tear apart mine on purpose to justify to let me fail (as apart from that essay I never ever failed the section of referencing...what a surprise [8|]).

However, it is handed in and thats what counts now.

now I take a nap as i am knacked (have night shift later) and at weekend I am going to start my menu for next month...I want to start a proper menu and freeze parts of it...that way I can grab my frozen left over meals to work and avoid wasting a fortune on junk food on corner shops before I am off to work...thats at least the theory [8|]...cant wait to be able to flip through my food magazines without the pressure of doing crap uni work...but for now...i need a nap.

Congrats PTB on finishing the essay. It really is the pits when there is such favoritism.

Shar, I was in the store on S. Lamar (though I remembered it being on S Congress - age is definitely catching up) earlier this month when I was in Austin, and I think it did have sari fabric. It's a really fun place. Hope you have as much fun there as I did, though I was exhausted when I left after babysitting my 3 and 5 yo grands for 5 days.

Thank you, it is indeed. I don't mind to fail when there is proper reason to fail but then quite frankly same scrutiny with all students and not being more linient with others just because they had a much more exciting topic. I take the criticism she did but they were still no reason to let me fail the referencing part and if she would not have been able to use that then I would have passed as then I would have only failed one out of 7 areas she had to mark.

However, I just hope now that this will be it with it but can't rely on it after I heard her remarks she did during the revision session which I did not attend, a la we would have to work extra hard now as we re-do it and other silly comments....which quite frankly are unneccessasry as after all we only get a D- anyway for anything we resubmit...

I just want to get rid of damn uni now, am tired of it...so I just hope to get it back with a pass this time [&o]

For the last week, off and on, I have been sorting through stuff in the guest room. Just some stuff piled up on the edges but a full week's work and a full garbage bag. I haven't figured out what was thrown out since almost all clothing was saved. The Man's less than good stuff got sorted into four bins; painting and carpentry summer, and winter, and car repair summer and winter. Clothing too disgusting to wear became rags. So how can there be that much trash?

Thank God it's done, except for some paper work he's left untouched for three years which I will strongly suggest be tossed sight unseen.
